"We had a wonderful time at the Gore View Lodge TownHome. We (family of three) stayed for 9 days and so appreciated returning to such a comfortable and homey abode after the days adventures. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare your own food which we took advantage of for many of our meals. The two recliners in the living room were two of the most cozy chairs I have had the opportunity to relax in to (very welcome after the days activities) and the A/C worked well in keeping the temperature comfortable. We loved both the layout and how the place was decorated. We had a great vacation and having the Gore View Lodge Townhome as our home base was a true blessing."

"The property is beautiful! We stayed in the hilltop cabin, and the view from up there is gorgeous! The picture does not show it, but the back side of the cabin that faces the mountains/valley has several very large windows. The inside of the cabin was very clean and cozy, and much attention has been given to details. There is a fridge, stove, coffee pot, toaster oven, microwave and sink. The fire-pit outside the cabin was perfect! They had boxes of newspaper and kindling, and a large supply of logs. We roasted marshmellows while enjoying the stars and the view! The toilet and shower are attached to the cabin, and you walk outside the length of the cabin to get to them. This could be inconvenient if it was very cold or rainy, but I actually enjoyed the outdoor shower a lot! The owners are very friendly. The land has been in the family for decades, and there are two cabins and several campsites they make available for guests. I got the sense that they cared more about us enjoying the property than about making money. It was the prefect place to recover from a week of backpacking in the Adirondacks. I highly recommend it!"

"This spacious home is situated on a quite road right off Mirror Lake Drive. With an entertainment center and pool table, there's something to keep you occupied no matter what the weather. The property owners are very helpful. We had a problem with the entertainment center and a short e-mail to Linda, brought a quick response . After a brief phone call, we were able to resolve the problem. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to larger groups."

"Our group rented this house for the Ragnar relay from Saratoga Springs, NY to Lake Placid, NY, as a fundraiser to support the Double H Ranch. The owners were incredible in allowing us to rent for just one evening, and this house suited our needs perfectly. It was well stocked with toilet paper, towels, blankets, etc. Thank you so very much!"
