"We have rented Morgan Lodge for the past three years and couldn't be happier. The location is perfect, it is a short distance from the Lake Placid Golf Club, and town is within easy walking distance. The rental also comes with access to Mirror Lake which is the small lake in the center of town. Morgan Lodge is always exceptionally clean, and beautifully furnished. It has a nice bar area complete with sink and a small refrigerator downstairs which lends itself to a perfect place to have a few cocktails. The owner is very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Morgan Lodge to anyone who is visiting Lake Placid."

"Adorable little house in the heart of all the action! Upon arrival, we found all the information we needed about the house, our stay, and the area (not to mention some much appreciated bottles of wine!) the location was nothing short of perfect. Everything in the village was only a short walk away, we only used our cars a few times during the trip. The price chopper down the road was also very convenient. I highly recommend this property, my group and I would absolutely stay here again!
My only suggestion is a better system for garbage removal? Of course it is not at all at the fault of the owners that garbage is only picked up once a week.. But I felt terrible leaving so much garbage at the end of my stay. My group of 12 did a lot of cooking and eating at the house throughout the week which accumulated a decent amount of trash. Perhaps an extra can would at least make the removal process easier. Regardless, the house is still 5/5 stars for me! =)"

"Was such a nice house that was so close to lake/Beach and within walking distance to Village. Plenty of room for the 4 adults and 3 little ones that stayed here. Also, plenty of room for the dog to bounce around.
Spacious and up to date with all amenities. Particularly loved the spate space upstairs that included a living room and bedroom. Worked out perfect for one of the families that had the 2 youngest.
Will hopefully be back next year!"

"Our family with 2 elementary age children and our in-laws stayed for a week in July. The lake was great and the kids had a ball every day playing with the pebbles and splashing around. We cooked and ate outside most days. The rooms were very clean and my in-laws appreciated the 1st floor bedroom with AC as they have trouble with stairs. All supplies were available and in ready quantities. We were expecting only a few kitchen implements, but there were plenty of gadgets, utensils, and different size pots to use.
After a wicked thunderstorm, the power and internet was knocked out. The owners were very responsive and reported the outage and we got back online. I am glad they listened to our concerns and were proactive.
The cottage is a short drive from many tourist attractions so we took day trips to the North Pole, Vermont, and Ft. Ticonderoga.
I highly recommend Jack's Rock and would stay here again in the future."
