"My entire family fell in love with Lake Champlain the side on New York. Can't speak of the Vermont side. The water was crystal clear and the sand was like baby powder on our feet. We enjoyed a private dock and all the toys you would want for a lake... what didn't we do? There was a fire pit right on the beach that we enjoyed every night. I really do believe it is one of the best situated lake houses there. The property is the quintessential charming lake house. The porch with rocking chairs was just a wonderful touch. I hope to make this a tradition for our family."

"We stayed in the LCH for 7 nights with a group of 16. It was so amazing! The house is beautiful and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. The lake access for swimming and boating was perfect! Having all the small boats available was really nice too. There aren't even enough words to describe how awesome the "Boat Shack" was for Happy Hour and late night hang-outs. My favorite feature, which may sound weird to some, was the dining room table. Having our entire family around the same table for meals was just priceless to me. Thank you so much for everything!!"

"My grown-up siblings, their significant others, and my mom rented your cabin for a long weekend. We absolutely LOVED it! It was perfect. It was just like the pictures. There was plenty of space -- common rooms and also cozy spacious bedrooms --- so we could gather and talk and play games but also had places to retreat to for privacy. The cabin was clean and tidy and had every amenity we needed. We also really appreciated the kitchen space, utensils, and dishwasher since we took turns cooking each night. We enjoyed quiet mornings on the beautiful front porch and savored the long daylight hours around the fire pit at night (which was stocked with plenty of wood, by the way). The game room in the basement was great and we loved that you had some board games stashed under the TV (since we had a few rainy days). The location was perfect for us. It wasn't too far out of town so it was easy to come and go, but it was far enough up the road that we felt like we had our own private spot in the woods. It's a perfect getaway to do some hiking and sightseeing in Lake Placid and the surrounding area. We would definitely come back!"

"My wife, 9 year old daughter and I rented Camp Pinecone the last week of August this year. We're from Philadelphia and it was well worth the drive! We are experienced travelers who have and have vacationed all around the country. Without hesitation I will say that this is one of the best vacations we have ever had. Maureen was an absolute pleasure to work with. The Adirondacks in general are incredibly beautiful. Camp Pinecone is wonderfully serene and comfortable. Sitting on the dock on the lake was so relaxing. The sunsets are beautiful. The house sits on Fish Creek Ponds which is a wonderful mid-sized lake. We loved fishing, swimming and canoeing on the lake. I rented a 17' motor boat and we waterskied and wake-boarded in front of the house. Fish Creek Ponds connects to Upper Lake Saranac and we took the boat exploring on that huge body of water and its many small islands daily. My wife and daughters read by the lake in the two hammocks every morning, evenings were spent by the fire-pit. There are incredible hikes a short drive from Camp Pinecone. The house is very nice, updated, clean and comfortable. I've rented houses everywhere in the US and I this is the first review I have ever written. Just felt compelled to do so. My family had a wonderful vacation."
