  • Enjoyed our experience So Much...we headed Back!

"Thank you to Tim for helping us to experience The Whiteface Lodge and Lake Placid. The resort went above our expectations in terms of the amount of space we had for our family of 5, cleanliness, friendliness of staff and ambiance. There was so much for us to do at the resort (the pool, game room, resort's private beach, cookies at tea time) and within the area of Lake Placid (hiking, boat tours, Olympic museum, watching the ski jumpers and ice skaters, & horse show). The concierge was very helpful in helping us pick out hikes to go on with our children, or alone as a couple when we utilized the Kids camp. We enjoyed our experience so much in June that we headed back in August! It was so easy to work with Tim and we are so glad that our friend who has stayed at the resort numerous times recommended Tim and the resort."

  • Great Location for Lake George Visitors

"We really enjoyed our two week stay at Horicon Hill after a four year absence. The newly remodeled kitchen was highly functional and well equipped for our group. The house was well maintained and we loved the new HDTV and Blu-ray DVD player. We thought that Cate's Italian Garden pizza was excellent but call ahead to order as they are packed at dinnertime. The house has lots of parking for cars and boat trailers."

  • Serenity and soothing silence

"Living in Manhattan it takes a while to get used to the serenity and soothing silence of being in the forest. Just so relaxing. We all had the best time up there. Weather was fantastic. Food in town superb. Best was chilling at the house. We will most certainly return in fall/winter. It's amazing how many stars are visible after dark. It seems impossible there are that many stars in the night sky. It takes your breath away. Wild turkeys in the woods not to mention a very big and pudgy bunny on the front lawn, chipmunks, blue jays, a woodpecker, and many robins too. 5-time guest since 2007"

  • Wonderful vacation cottage on Willsboro Bay/Lake Champlain

"This was one of the most pleasant vacation cottages I have ever rented. The size is perfect for 2 to 6 people and it is extremely clean and comfortable in every way. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing great meals, the living room is very homey and there is a great view of the lake from almost every room of the cottage. I appreciated having cable TV, internet and good cell phone reception. The bathroom is modern with a wonderful shower and the beds are extremely comfortable. The house is located right on the shore of Willsboro Bay and has an amazing view north into Lake Champlain and a view west so you can see the Metroliner snake through the mountains on its way to Montreal. The dock is great for boating but it's also wonderful for pulling out at chair and reading a good book or just watching the light change over the water. Swimming is excellent here because the bottom is sandy and the water very clear. Also, it's protected because speed boats do not come into the area except to dock. The town of Willsboro is fairly quiet, but very pretty and has a variety of very accessible activities - a lovely 9 hole golf course, well-maintained public tennis courts and nearby hiking. There are two market/gas stations close by with all the necessities and excellent meat counters, so you don't have to go far for groceries. The two close-by marinas have restaurants, so dining out is convenient. Bicycling is perfect along Corlear Drive because it's fairly flat with very little car traffic. The owner was very personable, responsive and very pleasant to work with. What more can I say? I can't wait for next summer!"
