  • Exactly what we were looking for...

"As a team of 12 very different people, I'm sure everyone had their own idea of what the perfect place to stay in Lake Placid would be. That being said, every single one of us loved Shore Crest. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The best part of the house for us was the huge porch overlooking Mirror Lake and downtown Lake Placid. I don't think we moved from there once we found it...we ate dinner out there and spent the night laughing and talking as the sun went down. This house is in the heart of Lake couldn't ask for a better location to explore the town. The owners are incredibly easy to work with and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. I would stay in this house again in a heartbeat!"

  • We love Cannon Point!

"This was my family's second time staying at this condo and we love it! The condo is spacious, clean and modern. It was extremely close to the pool and a beautiful sandy beach. There are a number of things to do in Lake George and Bolton Landing, but we spent most of the time at Cannon Point because our kids loved hanging out at the pool which overlooks the lake. The property owner, Eric, is easy to work with and very helpful. We are definitely looking forward to going back again next summer"

  • Serenity and soothing silence

"Living in Manhattan it takes a while to get used to the serenity and soothing silence of being in the forest. Just so relaxing. We all had the best time up there. Weather was fantastic. Food in town superb. Best was chilling at the house. We will most certainly return in fall/winter. It's amazing how many stars are visible after dark. It seems impossible there are that many stars in the night sky. It takes your breath away. Wild turkeys in the woods not to mention a very big and pudgy bunny on the front lawn, chipmunks, blue jays, a woodpecker, and many robins too. 5-time guest since 2007"

  • Boy weekend at Jim's

"My Uncles, cousins, brother and sons get together for one weekend a year to connect with each other. This year we stayed at Jim's Adirondack home in Old Forge. I have nothing but great things to say about this home. It was exceptionally clean and big enough for the 12 of us. The area was great for bike riding, canoeing, fishing or just walking around town. We booked the home again for next years get together."
