"Stayed here two years in a row and it was like paradise. Words cannot describe how incredibly this camp is. Need a break from every day stress, this place is it. You just never want to leave and no other place on earth is quite like this property. It is so clean and has everything you could ever need.
From the second you drive down the driveway and catch a glimpse of Lake Placid in your backyard, you know you have arrived.
The porch is one of the biggest I have ever seen and the view is breath taking, you just have take pictures constantly and still feel like you haven't done it justice.
The house is massive and fully equipped with everything.
The common rooms are spectacular and jaw dropping, the bedrooms are beyond charming. Just when think you have seen everything, walk from your back porch onto the park like grounds down to the boat house and be prepared to be blown away.
I truly love this place and hope to be back again real soon."

"We just returned from a GREAT week on Lake George. We traveled with three families with kids ranging from 9-15. Without exception, after a few days we all agreed that we must return again next summer. The house was spacious enough for all. We rented a pontoon boat for the week from Chic's Marina- we were tubing and fishing daily. We found a company in town to deliver and pick up kayaks & paddle boards. (Riley's) We had a fire almost every night for s'mores and could hear some music from the village.
We found that everyone enjoyed "old time" family fun. Trading in our phones and computers for volleyball, soccer, playing cards around the table. Even the teens in the group were able to accomplish this. We were close enough to the village to allow the teens to walk in on their own. They even found a nearby park to play basketball. The steps leading to the house were a bit steep, but once we unloaded, we were set for the week. The washer/dryer was very convenient to have and made life easier. The "cottage" had all the amenities we needed to prepare meals and store our food and beverages(2 fridges). We chose to cook most nights, as it is difficult to dine with such a large group. We had a great dinner at The Boat House.
Every Thursday night the village hosts fireworks & I would say we had the best seats in the house. Although the area offers a variety of activities, we found it difficult to pull ourselves away from the relaxing views and water fun. Maybe next summer we will try parasailing over the lake or even a ride on the Minnie-Ha-Ha that went sailed by many times a day."

"This was my first experience with VRBO. Myself and 4 of my friends stayed here for our weekend snow-shoe trip. The apt/condo was absolutely wonderful and exceeded my expectations. There was plenty of space for us to relax while we were there and the owners were immediate attentive to a toilet chain fix when I reached them during our visit. Everything was great and I would highly recommend this for a short-term or long-term stay. Its only a few short min (less than 5) to downtown Lake Placid if going by car. Its tucked away from the main road so it was very quiet and secluded. I would absolutely stay there again if I could."

"Clean and spacious, this condo was great for our party of 3 couples. Well equipped for cooking or walk down the hill for great food and drinks. Close to all the Lake Placid attractions, we did it all. Bobsled run was well worth the price, and we saw 2 international ski jumping competitions and skated on the olympic oval. The ski locker at Whiteface was an unexpected luxury. Good communication, good location, great beds and bedding. The gas fireplaces were awesome as well. Would recommend without hesitation."
