"Beautiful secluded property.
Nice, well kept rooms and common area, and hot tub is very pleasant.
Very kind and helpful owner.
Things to improve on :
- needs a bit more cooking ware for large groups (ex: large pot, baking tray)
- comfortable for 8 people, tight for 10 (2 of the single beds are for children), not so suited for 12 adults.

"It was a great cabin- we were headed to Northface for a Presidents' Day ski trip and found this (about 20 minutes from the mountain). We were two couples and a teenager (could have easily had another teen). Beautiful fireplace, excellent caretaker."

"We stayed at Little Peak for a week, our first visit to the Adirondacks, with our primary purpose of hiking and exploring the outdoors. The cabin was cozy and perfect for the two of us. The kitchen was very well-stocked with pots/pans/dishware/knives/utensils, etc., which was exactly what we were looking for as we cooked in more often than we ate out. The front porch/patio was great for eating meals outside. It has great access to Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, and the high peaks region. The only drawbacks were: no washer/dryer unit, given our length of stay and how dirty we were from hiking; the hot water heater is pretty small so we had to wait 1/2 hour between our showers (which were short) to have enough for both of us; and the spiral staircase takes some dexterity, so anyone who has difficulty with stairs might have trouble with it. Overall, Little Peak was a great fit for our needs and we would love to stay here again if traveling to the area in the future."
