  • Fabulous Old Forge Log Home!

"We had the wonderful pleasure of staying at the "Four Seasons" in Old Forge. It far exceeded our expectations - clean, comfortable, quiet and within walking distance of the Old Forge shops and restaurants. The house was very well equipped, there was nothing that we needed that wasn't already there! We were amazed at the number of bedrooms and bathrooms - certainly more room than we needed- but none the less enjoyed! We loved being able to sit in the backyard on the river, and although we didn't go canoeing, there is wonderful dock where one could easily launch from. Deer came to visit frequently and we had a muskrat swim right by us! We are definitely hoping to visit again soon and wouldn't hesitate in any way to stay at the "Four Seasons!""

  • Amazing!

"We had such an amazing time in this home! Tony was quick to answer and help with any questions we had. The house was absolutely gorgeous, we spent the week relaxing and hanging with friends. We didn't even want to leave the house! We will 100% be booking this home again in the future. We have stayed at other places in the Adirondacks and this one exceeded our expectations."

  • Beautiful Views

"We went to North Creek NY to ski at Gore. This had a beautiful view of the top of Gore from the large living room windows, and was only 5 minutes from the mountain. It is also across the street from Austin Pond. The pictures are pretty accurate. The house has a cozy feel to it. While the home is a bit older, the kitchen was well-equipped, and there were some newer improvements like the gorgeous living room wood floor, and outside deck. There were towels and linens, and plenty of space for 5 adults and 4 kids. We enjoyed a fire in the massive stone fireplace with the wood that was provided, and truly enjoyed the large open living space. There were no tvs- but we did not miss them. It was a nice change, and we found ourselves playing lots of nostalgic board games instead (provided). We had spotty cell phone service with Verizon, as expected from other reviews, but the internet connection was fine. North Creek NY is a pretty quiet area. However, there was a market a few miles away, and a restaurant, and the Diamond Head area of Lake George is just over a 1/2 hour away. We would definitely stay here again, and perhaps try a different season as well."

  • Amazing Lakefront Escape!!

"Don't know where to start! The house was absolutely immaculate upon arrival, I'm talking clean like we were the first people who ever discovered this place. It was very nice to have everything you could ever need from fresh linens to every kitchen gadget, brand new grill, wifi, washer/dryer, to kayaks, floats, life vests, etc.... This was a very nice escape from the madness that lake George can become but close enough that if you decide to venture out its convenient. Sixflags, Martha's ice cream, and glen falls are all around the corner, but you'll soon realize as we did that there really is no reason to leave! Many nights were spent lakeside by the fire pit watching the stars and lake. Days consisted of kayaking, fishing, swimming on the sandy bottom lake front, and drinking many a cold adult beverage on the lake front lounges! Ospreys have a large nest next door and they are quite the sight to watch grab more fish than me or any of my group could catch on rod and reel! All in all not a single complaint, met owner and she's a doll, super accommodating! Can't wait to return for this new family tradition!"
