  • Great place to stay

"This was a great place to stay for our family and friends. Two good sized bedrooms allowed my wife and I plus our infant to stay in one room while my friend and his girlfriend stayed in the other room. Nice sized dining room table to hang out and play games at. Linens and towels were provided so that was one less thing to pack. The walk to the village was a little too long with an infant in the winter, but doable for adults. The place was nicer than the internet pictures looked."

  • In a word - Amazing

"Stayed here two years in a row and it was like paradise. Words cannot describe how incredibly this camp is. Need a break from every day stress, this place is it. You just never want to leave and no other place on earth is quite like this property. It is so clean and has everything you could ever need. From the second you drive down the driveway and catch a glimpse of Lake Placid in your backyard, you know you have arrived. The porch is one of the biggest I have ever seen and the view is breath taking, you just have take pictures constantly and still feel like you haven't done it justice. The house is massive and fully equipped with everything. The common rooms are spectacular and jaw dropping, the bedrooms are beyond charming. Just when think you have seen everything, walk from your back porch onto the park like grounds down to the boat house and be prepared to be blown away. I truly love this place and hope to be back again real soon."

  • Cozy and quiet, great location

"We stayed at Little Peak for a week, our first visit to the Adirondacks, with our primary purpose of hiking and exploring the outdoors. The cabin was cozy and perfect for the two of us. The kitchen was very well-stocked with pots/pans/dishware/knives/utensils, etc., which was exactly what we were looking for as we cooked in more often than we ate out. The front porch/patio was great for eating meals outside. It has great access to Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, and the high peaks region. The only drawbacks were: no washer/dryer unit, given our length of stay and how dirty we were from hiking; the hot water heater is pretty small so we had to wait 1/2 hour between our showers (which were short) to have enough for both of us; and the spiral staircase takes some dexterity, so anyone who has difficulty with stairs might have trouble with it. Overall, Little Peak was a great fit for our needs and we would love to stay here again if traveling to the area in the future."

  • Great Place!

"This house is great! Was everything we were looking for. The dock overlooking Mill Pond was beautiful and peaceful. Loved to sit there and soak up the sun. Within walking distance of downtown, which was great, since we love downtown. Certainly will go back, maybe in the winter. Did have an issue upon arrival but the owners were very prompt in resolving the issue and we appreciate all they did! Thank you so much!"
