  • Wonderful!

"We had a fantastic stay at the All-Play Cottage. The house was clean, meticulously decorated, the interior and exterior was also well maintained. I was very impressed with Judy and her lovely home. We could tell how much she cared for it. The amenities provided everything we needed for our stay and it was very close to the town of Lake Placid and Saranac. We have been coming up to Placid and Saranac for the past 13 years. My husband, son and I agreed this was one of the best trips we've had. Hopefully we will be able to rent this home next summer = )"

  • Fantastic vacation

"My children and grandchildren have stayed at this wonderful home twice. It is beautifully furnished and comfortable. I have never rented a nicer home. The linens are beautiful and plentiful. The kitchen is very close to being like my home kitchen. There are two washers and dryers in the basement. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and playing at the large sand bar out in the lake. Some of the family hiked and biked. There is a fun 9 hole golf course close by."

  • A wondeful and restful hiking holiday in the Adirondacks!

"I can't thank you enough for the lovely cozy cottage you keep! As I mentioned, every area was fully equipped with everything we would need! The bathroom was clean with comfy towels and even some extra toiletries! The hot water tank was not a problem at all. We made sure to space out our showers and the dish washing! The bedroom was also very restful. The ceiling fan and the two windows to the side and back yard were perfect to circulate the air at night! It was a restful place to rest (even with our 5 year old sharing the bed and our puppy on the floor! We really appreciated the long dresser to put all our stuff on too! The kitchen was also very well equipped! There was lots of space in the fridge. We had 2 breakfast, 2 dinners and 1 lunch and lacked for nothing at all! I even forgot to pack extra zip lock bags and Tupperware and was pleasantly surprised when I saw some in the kitchen! By the way, I've never seen such a clean convection toaster oven! Very handy to cook our meals with! The living room and dinning room were also well stocked! As soon as we entered we noticed the very useful hand drawn map you left for us on the table. It was good to know where we were with relation to the farmer's market, the park, the ADK café, etc. We also browsed through the very useful books and pamphlets you have in the living room. We appreciated having the cable for our 5 year old son to be entertained with PBS kids and other children channels while we unpacked or prepared meals. The cottage is within walking distance of great markets, cafes, local shops, ice cream shops, river walks, etc. It was an extremely convenient location for us. Our only regret is that the weather was too wet (and we were too tired) to borrow your nice fire pit in the back because my son really wanted to have roasted marshmallows and smores. Thank you Dorothy and we look forward to our next visit!"

  • Great getaway

"We live about 1 hr south of lake george and wanted to get away a few nights for my parents 50 anniversary! The owners are very kind people And Care a lot about their property it's obvious. I would gladly return. Location amazing right on water close to town of hague. It's a Great option because less touristy then lake george village area. Sandy met us upon arrival to go over details of house. It is a great place for families with kids we have a baby, 3 and 5 year old. Air conditioner for me a must and 3/4 rooms have it:) I would say it sleeps 5-6 comfortably. Master sweet bed very comfortable. We went after Labor Day when stay didn't have to be a week which we like since we live in area.thanks so much for opening up your house to us!!!!"
