  • Family Reunion Fun

"Our family of three generations loved our stay at Huttlinger House. The house was clean, with comfy beds and plenty of clean towels. There were four bedrooms and two full baths in the second floor, and a third full bath on the first floor. Two of our party also spread out into the cozy bedrooms on the third floor. We enjoyed making breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen and eating together in the dining room. We enjoyed evenings in the large living/sitting room. It was an easy walk into town for dinner and shopping in the quaint stores and outlets. We loved that the house is still owned by the children who grew up here; the house is built upon many happy memories. We would definitely recommend Huttlinger House to our friends!"

  • Absolutely Perfect!!!

"My family just returned from a wonderful stay in this house and it was fabulous! I can't say enough about this beautiful home. All of the 7 bedrooms are well decorated, cozy and super comfortable. There are also plenty of well stocked bathrooms for everyone (towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc). We loved cooking dinner in the well stocked kitchen (lots of pots, pans, spices, etc.) and hanging out in the large and very comfortable living room. It was also a great house for kids. There were sand toys and indoor toys (as well as a chalkboard wall) to keep them entertained!!! The sandy beach area is beautiful. We loved that we could leave our kayak and standup paddleboard down at the water all week for easy accessibility. Another plus was that there are many lounge chairs, a table and many umbrellas down at the beach area. The location of the house is awesome - right in the middle of Bolton Landing and Lake George Village. Just to weigh in on the step issue mentioned in previous reviews. It isn't that there are so many steps, but they are steep and it takes a little effort to get down to the beach. We had my son's walkie talkies, which made it a lot of fun to talk with people back at the house. From all of our paddling around the lake, it appears that this is the nicest house on Trout Lake. We can't wait to go back again!!!!"

  • Rustic, but cozy and beautiful location.

"This is a rustic cabin that is on beautiful Fern Lake. It was very comfortable for our family of four and our dog. We loved waking up to the song of the loons and watching them swim on the lake either from the porch or while kayaking in one of the 4 kayaks available to us. This is a clean, quiet lake. Perfect for fishing, kayaking or if you have a pontoon boat. The beds were all very comfortable and we slept like the dead! I must clarify what I mean by rustic. There is running water and indoor plumbing! However, you must bring your own drinking water as the water source is the lake. The cabin has electricity and all you would need. No WiFi was a blessed break for us! We would return again as we loved the serenity of the location. The owner also immediately addressed any of our concerns which we greatly appreciated! We also enjoyed hiking Silver Lake Mountain and Cascade Mountain!"

  • Tranquil Lakefront Cottage with an Amazing View

"We are yearly visitors to Camp Busy and just love it. This lakefront cottage rental is exactly what is pictured and described on the web. It is clean and comfortable with the most wonderful view of Lake Champlain and the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. The owners are wonderful people who provide maps and make recommendations of places to visit and eat. The rental has a TV and VCR which was used in the mornings in order to keep the kids occupied before we head out. It also comes in handy on rainy afternoons. The kitchen is completely stocked with a coffee pot, toaster, plates, cups, silverware, pots & pans and everything one might need to prepare a meal. Although we don't utilize the kitchen much, it is great to be able to stock the refrigerator with drinks, cold cuts and essentially junk food. This is great since we are able to have some munchies when we just want to hang out and relax and watch the spectacular sunsets. The rental is a short drive to the quaint Village of Willsboro and the Village of Essex for some shopping and outdoor eating on the lake. We also have taken the ferry to Vermont for the day with lots to see and do. We have visited Ausable Chasm and spend much of our time hiking, biking and lots of swimming. This lakefront rental we highly recommend for the value, size, cleanliness, convenience, amenities and confort. We have have built many wonderful memories at Camp Bushy. Happy Vacationing and watch for Nessie !!!!!"
