"My family stayed at this beautiful lake house for one week in July. The house contains everything needed for a perfect stay. Fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable furniture. Our main purpose in staying at this lake house was to unwind and relax from stressful jobs. There is no better way to decompress than by watching the wildlife and the sunsets in the evening. The house if furnished beautifully. We travelled into Saratoga to shop during the one day it rained. Be sure to visit Gardenworks and Battenkill Creamery in Salem. The homeowner was very responsive to all my questions."

"We had a wonderful, quiet getaway at Robin's home. The design of the house is comfortable, well thought out, and elegantly designed. The Zen Tower provides a great spot for reading. And the house is close enough to Hudson, Great Barrington, and other cultural centers to have a great meal and visit museums. The house was very well prepared for our arrival, and Robin gave us a warm welcome and a very helpful overview of the house. Recommended for a quiet vacation."

"The pictures don't do the house justice! We arrived to a beautiful house with great views, deck, bedrooms and the pool were wonderful. Star gazing in the yard was perfect for a nice getaway from the city. Quiet/secluded location and the town is fun. Didn't want to leave and can't wait to come back. Thank you Kathy for being a great host. Cheers!"

"Casual comfort in a charming, quiet neighborhood, a five minute walk to the stores and restaurants on Broadway and, for horse lovers, an easy ten minute drive to Saratoga Race Course. This describes our enjoyable stay in this three bedroom, two bath 'condo', which is attached to the owner's home. The owner was available if we had any questions about the area, but was not intrusive. She was a wealth of information regarding local history, the race course and restaurants. The living room has two large comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV, and there is a large dining room table if you choose to enjoy your meals at home. A Mr. Coffee maker and a Keurig were available for our use, set up on a side board, reminding me of a B & B. The kitchen had all the essential ingredients to prepare breakfast to dinner (of course we supplied our own food!) There is an eclectic mix of furniture in the bedrooms that are located on the second floor. Our friends enjoyed their stay in the airy master bedroom that has a queen bed, while we chose one of the smaller rooms that has a queen bed. The owner supplies all the linens and towels and provided us with paper goods which was great. There is also a washer and dryer that seemed brand new for our use. One of my favorite features about the condo was sitting on the deck alongside the house, enjoying morning coffee, listening to the birds and looking at the beautiful morning glories. The owner provided a table and chairs with an umbrella, as well as a grill.
We enjoy the horse racing at Saratoga Race course, sitting on chairs in the picnic area. This location is an easy drive, avoiding the traffic lights in town, with pay for parking lots that are a block or two from the main gate. Of course we visit local restaurants and it is wonderful that we are able to walk to most of them, including some in the Arts District on the West Side. We always go to Saratoga National Golf Course and enjoy a delicious lunch.
We enjoyed our ten day stay in this charming house. It is in a great location for all that we choose to do and we look forward to our visit next year. We are already booked!"
