  • wonderful getaway

"My husband and I rented this cottage to be able to spend time with our children and grandkids from Tennessee who were staying in the Saratoga area. We wanted a place where we could have room to entertain with lots to keep 5 kids aged 7 to 18 busy and this was perfect!!! There was everything there to keep them busy from canoes, a paddle boat and a rowboat for fishing-even the fishing poles!!! We had such a great time, we called and asked to stay longer!! It was very clean, well furnished and the kitchen was equipped with anything you might need. How scenic and peaceful it was to be up with the loons and eagles, sitting on the deck with coffee in the morning!! I would gladly (and already have) recommended the lake house to anyone who would like to visit the area, and when the kids return next year, this will be our first choice!!"

  • Peaceful retreat

"We had a wonderful, quiet getaway at Robin's home. The design of the house is comfortable, well thought out, and elegantly designed. The Zen Tower provides a great spot for reading. And the house is close enough to Hudson, Great Barrington, and other cultural centers to have a great meal and visit museums. The house was very well prepared for our arrival, and Robin gave us a warm welcome and a very helpful overview of the house. Recommended for a quiet vacation."

  • Location and comfort

"The home is amazing, the kitchen is part botanical garden with hanging plants and a soaring ceiling. Walkable to downtown and so close to the track, you can hear the bugle blow before the race. The architecture in this Eastside neighborhood makes even a short walk fascinating. The street is quiet, but close to the action. As a cyclist, the area topography is well suited for a 3-25 mile ride, and lots of parks and open space. The Saratoga porch is a special spot to people watch while dining. The home is inviting and comfortable."

  • Perfect Getaway

"Three couples had the pleasure of spending a long weekend in this immaculate and extremely well-located home. The pictures don't do it justice--it is larger than it looks, impeccably appointed, and very comfortable. The bedding was perfect for our group, and the deck is a wonderful addition that fair weather guests will love. While the house itself is located in an unusual place, it is a very short walk to Broadway and all the great stores and restaurants in Saratoga Springs. And it was a pleasure to deal with Bobbie. She was prompt, forthcoming with advice, and accommodating. This group has rented homes in various cities for several years and this is easily one of the nicest. As one other reviewer said, our only regret was that we were only there for a long weekend."
