Has Everything and More
"This is a great place for a get-away. Everything you can think of is there and supplied. Landlord supportive, friendly and responsive to any needs. We will be returning for sure!
Downsides is the neighbors dog that is on a 2nd floor balcony and the dog faces the property and constantly barks at us. Not under the control of the landlord and the neighbor does not seem to care. It is annoying and disruptive. There is no swimming off the dock - too many weeds. The in-ground pool fixes that or you can rent the pontoon boat and head Northwest to a place on the lake that has no weeds and boats gather to swim . . . . a "concession boat" anchors there with hots and hamburgs as well as beverages. Great day trip.
This is an impressive property and is immaculately clean - it would easily be a 5 of 5 if not for the neighbors dog and the lake weeds."

"For summer rental the pond is definitely the highlight. The picture doesn't describe this large weedless pond properly. Completely surrounded by woods on property that really has no visible neighbours this pond is the highlight of the rental. Air temp in August was low 80s and the surface water temp was probably mid 70s. Very cold a few feet deeper but that means you just have to float in comfort. The 2nd story south facing deck on the house was high enough to be bug free, catches the breeze and had a pleasing view of the big lawn and woods. Great for relaxing, dining or star gazing. Great Barrington is about 1/2 hour away which has the needed grocery stores (Guido's or the Co op), shopping, restaurants and a different hiking trail every day. Can't say much about the house because we spent most of the time outside. One drawback was that the TV had no cable or satellite reception but the wi fi was fast and reliable."

"My family stayed at this beautiful lake house for one week in July. The house contains everything needed for a perfect stay. Fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable furniture. Our main purpose in staying at this lake house was to unwind and relax from stressful jobs. There is no better way to decompress than by watching the wildlife and the sunsets in the evening. The house if furnished beautifully. We travelled into Saratoga to shop during the one day it rained. Be sure to visit Gardenworks and Battenkill Creamery in Salem. The homeowner was very responsive to all my questions."

"This was our first home rental experience and I searched long and hard on several different websites to find the perfect home for a very special family vacation to Saratoga. I truly did find it in this home. The home is VERY spacious, beautifully decorated and absolutely immaculate. Even the lovely pictures don’t do it justice. The master bedroom, with its double doors, beautiful ensuite with garden tub and separate shower, and HUGE walk-in closet is a retreat unto itself. And there is a huge room downstairs that is great for gathering & socializing. There were 9 of us and we certainly had plenty of space. The home is well laid out, with an impressive and welcoming entryway which truly made you feel as if you were coming home. The owner is very sweet and an absolute joy to work with. Everything went very smoothly and was well thought out and communicated. She even left some welcome refreshments for us, including (knowing we were from Vermont) some Keurig Green Mountain k-cups in “Vermont Country Blend” – a kind gesture that did not go unnoticed. She was even kind enough to send to me an item I thoughtlessly left behind.
A rather unexpected bonus was LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! We were SO CLOSE to everything! A short drive to town, even shorter drive to the State Park , SPA and Casino, and truly just minutes to the back entrance of the free parking lot at the race track (our preferred place to park). A great way to avoid traffic on a busy race day (we went for Travers week). We could not have been more delighted.
We also were very pleased with the HOA facilities and went down there several times to enjoy the pools & beach. The lake is gorgeous and we found that we were conveniently situated just a very short drive to a place that rents canoes & kayaks, etc.
I would absolutely recommend this home. It is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with ample parking and easy access to the highway. The week flew by too fast and we will always consider this our Saratoga home away from home. Thanks for a fabulous and truly memorable vacation!"
