  • Peaceful retreat

"My family and I have vacationed at this amazing peaceful retreat many times over the past few years. We love the fact that it is close to our home so our adult/teenaged children can visit. The camp has a wonderful view of the lake from the extra large new screen porch. Plenty of lake frontage to play games! It is a quiet little lake and my husband and children love the fishing. Don't forget to bring your kayaks and water toys! So peaceful. The home offers many luxurious updates including a new kitchen and charming adirondack decor in the living room. All the comforts of home are offered. We look forward to our next trip!"

  • fabulous place!

"my family and i enjoyed a weekend full of beautiful weather, great views and a very comfortable home. The house was exceptionally clean, with a fully stocked kitchen of all the utensils needed to prepare a meal. The bedrooms were very spacious with a full bath in each of the upstairs bedrooms! very nice! the pool was well kept, clean and quite large with chairs and chase lounges and tables surrounding it. This place is absolutely fabulous and we plan to book again for next year for our family get away and reunion. Since we ski we didnt realize just how close it was to Jiminy Peak so will keep in mind for winter as well."

  • Great property for the price point

"We found this charming spot to house our first Berkshires getaway as a small group of friends and families and we will surely be returning to the area. The area is secluded and private. the pond is beautiful/scenic, a nice walk. The views of the woods right behind the home are an amazing view to wake up to! The kitchen is well-appointed (chef's knives, peelers, toaster, food processor, microwave, cutting boards) and so is the home's supplies. linens were plentiful. There is one small children's push trike and one men's adult bike, a small playground set by the shed for perhaps 3-9 year olds. the edna st. vincent millay home is just right down the road. The place is about 20-35 min drive from the typical Berkshire attractions. You must have a car - there is no town to walk to. The bedroom upstairs with the 3 singles is perfect for kids, with toy storage, so you certainly don't have to bring toys, and we found a few children's books too. There are adult books, cooking books and board games. The owner was very responsive (we had many emails and texts) with lots of great tips/ideas of what to do in the area. we were happy with our stay and you will be too!"

  • Family gathering

"This summer marked our second stay and didn't dissapoint. This is the perfect landing spot for a large family. We had 4 couples and 7 kids and the home and landscape was still too big. While visiting in summers, I can only imagine how the mountain view look with coating of snow; can't say enough good things about this home."
