  • Great Vacation Home

"The house is just minutes from Saratoga Springs yet has the feel of country living. The house is comfortable, well stocked, steps from the lake and a wonderful place for a vacation. Marilyn was a very helpful and accommodating host!"

  • The most relaxing weekend of our lives

"My boyfriend and I and another couple needed a place to stay the weekend of the Dave Matthews Concert. It was our first time renting a home. Within 30 minutes of arrival we all decided to ditch the concert and relax by the lake. It was the most relaxing weekend I have ever had. The house has all the amenities anyone could ask for. There was nothing we needed. You can tell the owners love this home and want others to love it as well. It was extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable. Everything is so organized and easy to find. The little details really stood out. I loved the hammock and screened in porch the best. My boyfriend loved the fishing on the lake. Our friends loved kayaking and the fire pit at night. The best kept secret is the pontoon boat. After researching so many other homes and what others charge, its unbelievable what you get for the price. Stay here, you will not find a better place with more grcaious hosts. ( Just dont book before we do, because we are already planning on going back at the end of summer)"

  • The MOST fun you'll have in the Berkshires!!!

"What a fantastic house! This house is gigantic, with rooms everywhere, and charm - original wide wood plank floors, a sweet attic, rooms off of rooms, sweet wallpaper with lovely prints - our kids didn't ever want to leave. And the kitchen is a dream - while the house is a big old rambling house, the kitchen has all top notch appliances, a stove to die for, an island with stools for everyone to sit while the meal is being cooked...I could go on forever. Really wonderful location, easy to get to Pittsfield, Lee, Stockbridge, etc. yet also explore Chatham and the New York side of the Berkshires. Queechy Lake and its private beach was supreme - small and clean, perfect for swimming and even kayaking or boating if you're so inclined. Across the street is a friendly restaurant, and you're near tons of fresh farm stands if you'd rather cook. The owners were easy to deal with and helpful and in contact at a moments notice to answer any questions. LOVE this house!!!!"

  • Family gathering

"This summer marked our second stay and didn't dissapoint. This is the perfect landing spot for a large family. We had 4 couples and 7 kids and the home and landscape was still too big. While visiting in summers, I can only imagine how the mountain view look with coating of snow; can't say enough good things about this home."
