  • Amazing!

"Cozy is indeed the perfect definition. We loved getting away from the big city for a weekend and could not have had a better time. The porch was relaxing, the fire place calm, the room cozy, and the area had enough for us to go explore. We went and saw a train station, went down to a river and swam, got some good food at a nearby town, and went to the big deep swimming hole on our way home. We definitely want to come back and stay again another time. It was perfect."

  • Weekend away

"What a fun time we had at this charming log cabin. The canoe trip down the lazy river that is on the property was just what we were looking for."

  • Recharge Your Batteries!

"As our first VRBO rental, the process could not have been easier! Barbara was very informative and accommodating to a last minute schedule change. The home was immaculate upon arrival!! There were pamphlets with suggestions of things to do, and we enjoyed our time at the farm. Kids loved the trail and bike riding around the property. We visited the County Fair and enjoyed visiting with the very talkative chickens. The fire pit was a great way to end each day and enjoy spending family time together. Dont forget your telescope for stargazing!! We had a lot of fun with the cookstove in the kitchen! In fact the kitchen was so well equipped, we did not eat one meal out! We enjoyed preparing all of the local meats and produce we found. The house itself was cozy and we felt very at home. We only had a couple of instances where we needed to contact Eleanor and Scott, and they provided immediate help. We look forward to returning!"

  • Truly Relaxing!

"When my fiancé and I first walked into the Blue Pearl we were in awe. Much bigger then we anticipated, we walked around taking in the sun shining from the skylights throughout the living room space and bedroom. (There is a shade for the skylight in the bedroom for those sensitive to sunlight in the AM). The kitchen was very cute and well equipped with anything you may need for a nice meal. It was nice to have different types of tea provided if you were in the mood for a cup on a cozy night or first thing in the morning. The bathroom has great hot water and the basic essentials you may need with fresh towels. We loved the small fireplace that was put in the cottage for ambience. There is good heating and AC in the cottage. Cd's and a small radio, chess, checkers and cards, books are provided for your down time. This place was very clean and the decor was like no other... It was a bit nippy outside for this time of year so we decided not to sit out front in the garden but we would love to when we come back! There are lots of shops near by which we loved and had a great time buying a few things. The people in the small town near by are very friendly. The restaurants near by have good food. A lot of organic ingredients which is always a plus for me! Overall we had a very relaxing stay and would love to revisit!"
