  • Great private retreat

"Our stay at Serenity Villa was fantastic. We loved the pool especially, which is very private and great for families. The kitchen is very well-appointed, great for making big dinners, and the rooms are big and comfortable. The surrounding area is also wonderful. The house lies up a winding mountain road from the town of Woodstock, which is really just down the hill and worth a couple visits. My old dog had trouble on the steep stairs leading to the second floor--I had to help him up and down each time he went--but a well-placed gate at the top of the stairs kept him, and my toddlers, from any danger of falling. A wonderful place, highly recommended."

  • Amazing View and Property

"There were eight of us and a small child celebrating my 40th birthday and we all had an AMAZING time. The house was well-kept, spacious, large enough for all of us, and provided great views of the property...especially the glass/screened in area. What makes this place special is the view. You can see for miles and miles and feel like you are in your own little world. Everywhere you look is beautiful--mountains, forest, a pond, etc. We just sat outside for hours (even in the rain, with a pop-up canopy). The pond has a paddle boat that was surprisingly relaxing--just peddle a few times and float and repeat. We all agreed that we would love to come back again. As a side note to future guests--make sure you bring your own paper supplies. All the utensils, dishware, and cooking appliances are there, but things like paper towels and toilet paper are limited (I'm assuming just left overs from previous guests). This is not a complaint, just a heads up. Overall, a great place. The pictures don't do it justice. Totally relaxing and chill. You won't be disappointed!"

  • Convenient and Clean!

"Our two main concerns: 1. Our dogs 2. Proximity to town. This home exceeded our expectations on both! The fenced in yard was good enough for a neurotic dog mom like myself, with chicken wire at the bottom of the wood fencing where there would have been even an inch of space. The home was located within a few blocks of Tinker Street. Do you know how many times we've rented houses that say "close to town" but they mean a couple of miles? This is right in town, yet it's on a quiet enough street, surrounded by trees and that fence that I mentioned. The house was tasteful and clean, with all the amenities one can ask for. We thank you and our dogs thank you for a great vacation! Oh and PS: The quickest security deposit refund ever."

  • Isolated Fun with Amazing Views!

"This house is amazing! The journey up to it, is a fun adventure. It is the best place to go to when trying to getaway and forget that the tri-state is the most populist area in the country. The basement with the game room and stadium seating entertainment room were a huge plus. The game selection was superb and the view from the deck is a million dollar one. I plan on coming back to this property once or twice a year for years to come!"
