  • Very nice cabin in a quiet location

"My husband, 3 month old daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend. We arrived on a Thursday night and left on Saturday. Friday was a cold day so after going to town for breakfast, we went back to the cabin and hung out there all day - relaxing, napping and enjoying the quiet! This cabin was very nicely renovated and everything in the main room and bedroom were very nice! The kitchen was well-equipped. We didn't cook in the cabin, but I made coffee every morning and there seemed to be enough cooking supplies for those who wanted to cook. The living room has a nice 'fake' fireplace as a heater and it was very cozy. The bedroom was perfect as well. The bed was comfortable and there was ample closet space. The bathroom was adequate, but not nearly as well-done as the rest of the cabin. It looked a bit shabby. One of the best features is the outdoor hot tub! We enjoyed it in the evenings and a chilly afternoon. One suggestion to the owner would be to supply additional towels. We only had two towels and had to use them for showers and post-hot tub. Note: this house is not walking distance to town. It's about a half mile from 212 and then, once on 212, it's another mile or so to the village green. If you are looking for a place where you can walk to town...this is not it. However, if you want proximity to town but a remote, quiet place to return to at the end of an outing, then this place is great! We ate breakfast both mornings at Oriole 9 - love this place and highly recommend it! We had dinner at the Bear Cafe and at the Red Onion - both were excellent and a very short drive from the house."

  • New Year's Eve Get Away

"Myself and six of our dear friends brought in the New Year in this quaint and cozy log cabin built by the owner. We were able to prepare all of our meals and dine at a beautiful wood table, and the kitchen was well equipped with all we needed. At night we were warmed by the ambience of the fireplace and caught up on movies. One of the most truly impressive features of this log cabin were the skylights, and at night you could see the moon and during the day, we had the added bonus of a winter wonderland, watching the snow drift down. We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay in this rustic log cabin and it was a delight to spend our New Year's Eve here with all of our close friends."

  • A Dreamy, Relaxing Escape on the Delaware (even with kids)!

"We have visited several times now and the experience just gets better every time! The house is charming and very well kept. The grounds are amazing and large enough to pitch several tents (if some in your group want to camp) and still have plenty of room for kids to run around. The house is right on the Delaware river and the homeowner has built a little 'beach' on the shore! All you need to take a relaxing and leisurely tube down the Delaware is here. It's a great adult get-away or the perfect for families with kids (it's equipped with lots of kid-friendly amenities). At night, take full advantage of the fire pit to roast some marshmallows for s'mores and once you've tucked the kids in, the adults can relax in front of the fire! This is truly a magical place!"

  • A special Catskills getaway

"Three years ago, my husband and I decided to look for an upstate summer getaway (we live and work in NYC). We looked at a few places, but knew immediately that we felt good about this place. It is cozy while having an open lay-out. It has everything you would need - enough space for guests should they come, a good kitchen, washer/dryer, and entertainment. Best of all, really, is that it's across the street from a motorless lake. We've been back since - 4th of July weekend in 2012, a full month last August. We first rented Amber Lake as a couple -- and have been happy to introduce our toddler to Amber Lake and the Catskills. (He loved it -- and calls the place "wa-wa" for the water/lake). It's cool and quiet without being remote - Livingston Manor has a cute little town with a great bakery, market, and diner. My husband fishes at the lake, we walk go for walks, barbeque on the porch... our time here has been memorable and truly part of our family's story. Communicating with the owners has been easy via phone or email, and we've had no issues in all the times we've stayed there. Highly recommend (even though, as I write this, I fear that we will find Amber Lake unavailable for the next time we want to visit!)"

Belleayre Mountain Travel Tips

Belleayre Mountain Vacation Rentals: Follow the Past

It began as a dare: Belleayre Mountain was untamed in the 1800's, attempted only by the brave or the foolish. Few could challenge the overgrown trails and wild twists and the unpredictable stone. Many wished to master it and, over time, the miles were slowly developed; turned into a resort tailored for even the boldest skiers. Cradled within the Catskill peaks, Belleayre is now one of the most popular retreats in the United States and Belleayre Mountain vacation rentals are the ideal way to experience it.

Belleayre Mountain Resorts: The Season Awaits

With an explosion of tourism (the numbers have burst to almost 200,000 individuals a year), it is no wonder that Belleayre has crafted a park to match the demands of its patrons. With its 47 trails, which range in experience levels and difficulty, and over 170 acres to explore, it has become the pinnacle of winter sports. With its longest run reaching a staggering 12,024 ft. and its cross country treks spanning over nine kilometers, it provides the perfect escape. All ages and skills will enjoy. There is no greater thrill than chasing snow, but you and your family will still need the occasional pauses. Return to Belleayre Mountain resorts and sprawl out in luxurious accommodations. Not all facets of your escape have to be rustic. You can instead enjoy the comfort of modern lines and convenient options. The ice can now be beautiful and efficient.

Catskills Cabins: Stay Warm This Winter

Your days will be filled, devoted to skiing, snowboarding, and discovering new paths. Don't let your nights become so wild, though. Instead relax within Catskills Cabins, where you can spend time marveling at the scenery you just conquered. Curl up to a fire and good conversation. With Belleayre Mountain vacation rentals, you and your family will have much to share. Smiles are just the beginning.
