"This cabin was a great find! I stayed with my boyfriend, brother & my three dogs for 3 days & 2 nights in March and it was beautiful! The owners were so accommodating and a pleasure to speak to, not to mention the rates were outstanding. The pictures don't do the cabin enough justice. The views are breathtaking and everything is included, even firewood! I will definitely be staying here again next year."

"We had an awesome whole week in this house.
It was my dream to stay in place like this, away from NY. Beautiful, calm, refreshing.
River is amazing and still, we made couple of rides by catamaran with our 20 month daughter and she really liked it.
It’s a great place for the families to relax. Our children were out whole days long, just playing on the personal playground, walking and running on the grass, playing with animals. We met dog, cats, and horses there. We saw many deers, chipmunk, squirrels. There is amazing nature!!! Sweet little town in walking time from there with farmer’s market on Sunday, where we bought yummy ice-cream and cookies.
And I should say special world about owners… They are great persons. It was perfect to have them close, to have a little chat about small things, about their place and life in general, very authentic.
We already talked about coming back in Fall, and I hope we will!"

"I spent this past weekend at the sweet little cabin with my boyfriend for a mini retreat away from the city. It was incredible. The cabin is the coziest little home, and the fireplace and candles and comfy furniture really put it over the top for us. The furniture and artwork and finishes are all updated and beautifully done. The fireplace is stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook amazing meals (loved the cast iron pan). A fire was all set up for us when we arrived and we loved all of the personal touches: the bath salts by the bathtub, the extra firewood, the cozy throw blankets, etc. We fell asleep to the sound of pouring rain and it was amazing. There are so many windows in every room and tons of hidden cabinets for storage- plus the bonus room is very cozy with the floor to ceiling windows! The cabin is very small, but for two people it really is perfect.
On Friday night we went to the Peekamoose restaurant. Very cool atmosphere; the food was pretty good.
Sunday morning we went to the Phoenicia diner for chicken and waffles- Delicious!
We spent all day Saturday at the Mowers flea market in Woodstock, exploring Woodstock, and fishing off the bridge right down the street from the cabin.
It was such a wonderful weekend and we couldn't be more thankful to our hosts. I recommend this cabin 100% to anyone looking for a little romantic retreat in the woods. We can't wait to come back.
Just a note (I'm sure it says it somewhere, but I missed it)- there's NO cell service in the cabin and barely any in Phoenicia. The cabin has a landline though and the Wifi is perfect, so it's not a problem, but just wanted to point it out."

True to it's description of "Peaceful-Zen-Cabin in the Woods"
"The drive there was beautiful with the foliage. My husband and I booked this for our anniversary. The tensions were dissolving as we soaked in the beauty of our surroundings. As soon as we arrived to the cabin and walked in we felt such a calm reside over us. Everything in the pictures and the description was even better in person. Everything you needed to make the stay more comfortable was within reach. You felt as if you were far away from everything yet all the conveniences and charm of the town was only less than 2 miles away! We had planned on getting out to hike and explore the area more but the tranquility of the cabin lured us to stay in and just gaze out the windows with the beautiful fall leaves. It truly was a zen place to be!!!"
