"A lovely spot. The photos show the interesting octagonal room and separate bedroom. A nice mix of old fashioned and renovated, very welcoming and relaxing. Watch out for falling apples on the roof! Our hosts warned us and it still was a surprise. The hosts are very warm and knowledgeable about the area. The river is across a quiet street. There was a bit of noise from the main road across a field. I hope to return next year."

"Our familly stayed in this house for 2 nights and it was a Great experience living with the wild, but the first that I've coordinated. The owners were extremely accommodating, responsive, and easy-going. The house was spotless upon our arrival, with fresh linens and towels throughout. The house was large enough to comfortably fit our family of six and had more than enough activities to keep everyone entertained all weekend long doing BBQ, looking at the farm animals a weekend getaway from the city of N.Y. Especial eating the fresh raspberries and looking and listening at the nature. The fire pit was awesome and also the sightseeing was amazing. I look forward in renting this house again. And we highly recommend the property for any groups of 6 looking for a week/weekend away."

"There are no words I could say that would do this property justice. The drive up from NYC was breathtaking. Easy to find and so many things along the way. The house was adorable and very comfortable. The best part was the kitchen. It had everything you could want from a waffle maker to wine glasses and every utensil known to man. There were also some of the best known and loved cook books right there on the shelf. This place is the perfect place to stay for a home cook/aspiring chef. There's even a very large dining room table to serve the perfect meal at.
The view from almost every room is perfect in winter. my friend and I sat on the large comfy sofa sipping wine in the warmth of the fireplace watching the snow fall outside. It's so quiet and picturesque. The decor of the house and the colors of the rooms were calming and accessible. All of the rooms were clean and cozy.
The owner was in close contact throughout the entire process and answered all of my questions and phone calls promptly. The house was everything the other reviews said and more. I really hope to spend time there in each season to see all the wonderful things it has to offer."
