  • Amazing View and Property

"There were eight of us and a small child celebrating my 40th birthday and we all had an AMAZING time. The house was well-kept, spacious, large enough for all of us, and provided great views of the property...especially the glass/screened in area. What makes this place special is the view. You can see for miles and miles and feel like you are in your own little world. Everywhere you look is beautiful--mountains, forest, a pond, etc. We just sat outside for hours (even in the rain, with a pop-up canopy). The pond has a paddle boat that was surprisingly relaxing--just peddle a few times and float and repeat. We all agreed that we would love to come back again. As a side note to future guests--make sure you bring your own paper supplies. All the utensils, dishware, and cooking appliances are there, but things like paper towels and toilet paper are limited (I'm assuming just left overs from previous guests). This is not a complaint, just a heads up. Overall, a great place. The pictures don't do it justice. Totally relaxing and chill. You won't be disappointed!"

  • Very nice cabin in a quiet location

"My husband, 3 month old daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend. We arrived on a Thursday night and left on Saturday. Friday was a cold day so after going to town for breakfast, we went back to the cabin and hung out there all day - relaxing, napping and enjoying the quiet! This cabin was very nicely renovated and everything in the main room and bedroom were very nice! The kitchen was well-equipped. We didn't cook in the cabin, but I made coffee every morning and there seemed to be enough cooking supplies for those who wanted to cook. The living room has a nice 'fake' fireplace as a heater and it was very cozy. The bedroom was perfect as well. The bed was comfortable and there was ample closet space. The bathroom was adequate, but not nearly as well-done as the rest of the cabin. It looked a bit shabby. One of the best features is the outdoor hot tub! We enjoyed it in the evenings and a chilly afternoon. One suggestion to the owner would be to supply additional towels. We only had two towels and had to use them for showers and post-hot tub. Note: this house is not walking distance to town. It's about a half mile from 212 and then, once on 212, it's another mile or so to the village green. If you are looking for a place where you can walk to town...this is not it. However, if you want proximity to town but a remote, quiet place to return to at the end of an outing, then this place is great! We ate breakfast both mornings at Oriole 9 - love this place and highly recommend it! We had dinner at the Bear Cafe and at the Red Onion - both were excellent and a very short drive from the house."

  • Serene Escape

"This house took our breath away. The open spaces inside were only matched by the grandeur of the Catskill Mountains. The house was large, yet comfortable and intimate. It had everything we wanted and more - huge living room, large eat-in kitchen, two floors of rooms, and our favorite feature, a closed in grill with eating space. When we had a minor issue, Robin, the managing agent, immediately called back and resolved it. That was our only issue, as everything else was country heaven. We were there for almost two weeks and had visitors who all shared our love of this property. We can't wait to go back! Thanks Claude"

  • The most charming, magical weekend away!

"I don't really know where to start, because our stay at Lisa's house was so wonderful and perfect in every way! When my sister and I first arrived we couldn't stop gushing over how beautiful and charming everything was, from the gardens, the lawns, to every room in the house. We had a bunch of girls come to celebrate my sister getting married, and there was enough of everything at the house. Lisa has plenty of fresh, clean towels/linens, and the kitchen was fully stocked. Lisa also has everything very organized and explained, which made our stay more relaxing. She also has a great notebook with local restaurants and other information about Woodstock, which was such a great help; yet, if we had any additional questions, she quickly responded to our text messages. We all had such an amazing time at this charming house; I wish we could spend every weekend there!"
