"We as a group of hikers stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful house.
The location was great for us to westkill mountain.
Very warm feeling and sun dranched livingroom made us very relaxed the day after a long hiking.
The deck was huge, we only wished if wasn't cold, we could have had a nice time hanging out there or BBQ with some music.
The game room was really great, we had a blast playing foosball and pocket ball.
In the kitchen, it has everything you need to prepare your meal, even some spices and basic stuff-salt, pepper, sugar, etc...
I highly recommend for someone wants to have some relaxed vacation, away from all and also there were play ground with swings, it would be great for little kids too.
The owner Rick was really good at prompt communication and very nice.
Thank you Rick!"

"My family and friends stayed this year during the winter recess in February. This was our second stay at the house and we were even more excited this year than the prior. The house has plenty to comment on, from the open floor plan, to the upstairs master loft, to the awesome fireplace, to the downstairs bar and radiant floor heating. I could go on and on but you will only truly appreciate this place if you make the trip. The town of Prattsville has a liquor store, grocery store, dinner and a local pub the "Prattsville Tavern", all which i highly recommend you visit. The proximity to Windham Mountain is perfect, maybe 12 or so minutes from the mountain.
I have already booked our vacation next year for February at the house and will continue to do so in the future. I cannot say enough good things about the owners both Anna and Paul, they are responsive and attentive to your needs. Whether you prefer to communicate via e-mail or phone they respond quickly and look to solve any problem.
I could go on and on about the house and the surrounding area, if your interested in having a great time in a great house in a great location, book a week and you will not be disappointed.
Anna and Paul, thank you very much for your hospitality and should you ever want to sell the house please let me know, its an easy decision for me."

Unbelievably big house with something for everyone.
"We just returned from a weekend at the "mansion." We were a group of 27 family members three generations (15 grandkids ages 5-25). Everyone had a great time. The game room was wonderful and we actually ended up dancing under the disco ball on the dance floor. The indoor pool was a huge plus, and all the kids had a blast.
The reasons I'm not giving it 5 stars are: there's no central air, and only 4 of the 16 bedrooms have air conditioning; none of the bathrooms upstairs had any towel racks or hooks to hang your towels on; The oversized deck only had one table to seat 6 (and it was rusty) and the deck chairs are those old chalky white plastic ones; there is absolutely no artwork (or photos) of any kind on any wall in the house and the bedrooms didn't have any nightstands or lamps. It really shouldn't be described as a mansion because it isn't. It's just a GIGANTIC house."
