  • A weekend in the woods that I'll never forget

"My husband and I hosted our wedding this past September at the chalet and I can honestly say I will never forget the magical weekend we had in the house. It will forever hold a special place in my heart. First, I will say we appreciated the house for all it's beautiful handmade craftsman grandeur. The house has a warm and comforting quality to it and when it's filled with your friends or family you will appreciate that. I can't see how you couldn't make wonderful memories to last a lifetime here. We fit 11 of our dear loved ones in the house, we found the accommodations very friendly to a large group. Great kitchen upstairs stocked with things you need to cook and entertain. Washer and dryer was super helpful. Living room upstairs is extremely cozy. Bedrooms are clean and inviting, perfect to relax and get away from the group if you need some time alone. We made use of the backyard behind the house to host approximately 55 guests, a bar and buffet and it was perfect. Susanna, the property manager is super helpful and responsive and a dream to work with. I can't say enough good things. Stay here!"

  • Wonderful cottage

"We've spent 2 nights at this adorable cottage. The place is very clean. Beautiful private settings. The incredible views, very close to restaurants. Jane recommended to go to Cooper Lake which had amazing views. Thank you Jane and Billy, will try to come back soon :) Julia"

  • Long Weekend Get-a-way!

"My husband and I wanted a relaxing get-a-way with friends over the long Presidents Day weekend. We found all that we were looking for and more at Dryden Brook Farm. From the amazing views to the secluded atmosphere, you are in another world away from it all. We all had a blast acting like kids playing in the snow and hiking in the mountains. When we were done with the cold we came in to the warmth of the roaring fire and enjoyed each others company. We were able to relax with wine, cards, board games and a few rounds of ping-pong and pool in the game room. Bill the owner if fantastic and made sure we had all that we needed during our stay. If you are looking for a quick trip that feels a million miles away from it all, take a drive up to Dryden Brook Farm, you will not be disappointed."

  • Absolutely perfect

"We went here for my wife's 40th bday. Her parents, her brother, myself, my wife, our 4 yr old son, and our golden retriever. Everyone was comfortable and had a fantastic time. The leaves were peak color. The hot tub was unreal. Jets were strong and it felt good. We built a bonfire next to the lake and made smores. Chewy swam in the pond and chased several deer. We made a fire inside the house as well. Used the grill. Played tons of pool on the amazing pool table downstairs. Star gazed at night. The view from the deck is mind blowing. Just cant get enough of it. You are secluded enough, but still a couple min from the town for groceries. Not a bad market either! We hiked, took a train ride for the kid, ate at the Peekamoose for dinner one night and explored Phoenicia. What else? Oh, did I mention the beds? They were sooo comfortable! I slept like a baby. kept the sliding door open and the cool air was great for sleeping. Wifi worked fine. Ipod/bose unit for music. Even several TVs if so inclined, but we barely used any electronics (only to get directions and one football game. guilty). A welcome break from city life. Will definitely be back."
