Picturesque Property and Beautiful Home for our Family Retreat!
"Words cannot express the wonderful time we had at the Coco Farm Estate. We were very fortunate to have found this amazing property for our family gathering. The house is spacious with beautiful light streaming in throughout the house. Everything was decorated so nicely and all of the bedrooms were incredibly comfortable. The great room was perfect for our family game nights and afternoon naps. The house was also child friendly so that we didn’t have to schlep up too many toys. We enjoyed wading through the streams, jumping into the swimming pond and picking a few salad greens from the garden. We had a family of deer visit us a few times during the evenings while we enjoyed the back deck, and even saw a blue heron (I think!) hunt for small fish in the streams. While there was plenty of nature and scenery to enjoy at the house, we drove to Ashokan reservoir for a nice walk along the paved walkway, shopped in Woodstock and treated ourselves to a spa afternoon at the Emerson Resort and Spa. All of these destinations no more than 15 minutes drive from Coco Farm.
I would recommend going to the Hurley Ridge Market for groceries and nicer quality produce and meats. There is an IGA nearby in Boiceville, which is fine for basics, but the produce was not so great and rotted within a day. We also got a fantastic recommendation from Cristina for quality meats (ribs, lamb, burgers, etc…)which was Applestone Meats (they delivered!). FYI, Cristina was very accessible throughout the booking process and has a dedicated team of individuals who live locally for any housekeeping/property issues.
It was a perfect Catskill getaway for our family, and we hope to return next summer…if not sooner! - The Mekala Family"

"Condo is new and well maintained. Kitchen is spacious and very usable, and living room furniture is very comfy and big TV is great. The location is excellent - especially if you want to be closer to the beginner side of the mountain. And after a few lift-rides up/down you can pretty easily get to the rest of the mountain. Note that during our mid-week stay, only about half the lifts were running on this side of the mountain, so not all of the blue/green here is accessible. Also, the bedroom could likely fit a king-size bed, and having a few small end tables would be nice. Overall we had a great stay!"

"My family and I have never visited this area of New York and we were pleasantly surprised. The property is among rolling hills and is beautifully situated at the crest of a hill with a view of the pasture and mountains. Although it was too chilly for us to enjoy the porch, this feature is an added bonus. Just to the left of the porch across the way is where the farm animals live, (no bad smells!). Small children would be charmed by their presence and my daughter loved visiting them. In preparing for this visit, imagine your good college friend allowing you to stay at his place for the weekend. This home is very charming and certainly lived in, complete with slippers at the door for use. There are beautiful wide planked floors and lovely antiques. The beds were comfortable and there is both a fireplace and a wood burning stove. What I enjoyed most about this home was the ecclectic mix of little figurines and other collectables reflecting the owners love of dogs. Many little surprises and a nice collection of books to enjoy. We never did figure out how to use the TV, although there were instructions. The owner is very thoughtful and we found we lacked nothing for the duration of our visit. This was a pleasure for me and my family!"

Great house in the middle of nothing (or between Hunter and Windham mountain)
"Surrounded, the excellent equipped house is a great place to stay for some days in the Catskill Mountains. We were a group of six German and Canadian journalists and photographers, who stayed there for the mountain bike world cup at Windham - and all of us founf enough space (three large bedrooms with queensize beds (two of them with own bath room), and room with four beds (two bunk beds) which fits each also for tall adults. The living room with the kitchen is really large, internet is fast. The really only disapointment was the not existsing cell phone connection."
