"A lovely cosy little cabin - very private, with everything you might need. What really makes this different though is your hosts, Robin and Michael, who are just wonderful - of such generous spirit that you feel welcome and looked after without ever being intruded upon. Highly recommended"

"My boyfriend and I were looking to get away from the noise and stressful life of the city. Lo and behold, we were able to find the perfect place. Mirav's cottage is to die for. The perfect word to describe this place is "magical". It's secluded and peaceful. We never saw a single soul the entire time we were there. The fireplace and jacuzzi were extraordinary. You can tell that Mirav put a lot of time and effort into making this home spectacular, and she definitely achieved that. My boyfriend is a wonderful cook, so the kitchen was one of the highlights for him. It was very spacious and light seeps through the skylights above making it the perfect atmosphere to cook. For entertainment, there are games, puzzles, bose sound system, Vizio LCD as well, so if you have a Netflix account you can cuddle up on the couch and watch whatever you want. There's also a beautiful patio where you can lay down and get a tan (it was raining so we couldn't do that). Another highlight was Mirav's super grill. You can make some incredible burgers on that thing! The 3 days we were there felt like heaven and really felt like home as well. I caught myself calling it "home" when we went out to dinner at the nearby Red Onion. Your in touch with nature, and you really forget how peaceful life can be when you don't have to deal with the stresses of the city. If you want to get away from it all, this is the perfect place.

"The first word that comes to mind when you get to Riverview Estate is WOW!!!! We rented this property for a long weekend getaway to celebrate our daughter's Sweet 16. We had a total of 18 family members ranging in age 6 months to 78 yrs. We had use of the main house and the entertainment lodge. These two houses were just amazing! The pictures on the website really do not do the place justice. After reading all the reviews, we had very high expectations of what the property would be like. When we got there we were literally blown away. The place is just spectacular. Everything was spotless, the entire staff is so wonderful and helpful. The response time to any questions we had was VERY quick. We all congregated in the entertainment lodge which easily accommodated all of us for our meals. The kitchen is fully stocked and even had two dishwashers! The weather was not ideal during our stay but that was ok because there were plenty of indoor activities to keep us all busy. The pool table, the sauna, the hot tub, etc. When there were breaks in the weather, we thoroughly enjoyed hiking up the mountain, hanging out at the river and sitting around the firepit. The views were fantastic. We even had the pleasure of meeting Gale. She is just absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to work with. We are hoping to come back again so that we can enjoy all that Riverview Estate has to offer. Our whole family had the most wonderful time. We will definitely recommend this property to family and friends."

"My husband and I hosted our wedding this past September at the chalet and I can honestly say I will never forget the magical weekend we had in the house. It will forever hold a special place in my heart. First, I will say we appreciated the house for all it's beautiful handmade craftsman grandeur. The house has a warm and comforting quality to it and when it's filled with your friends or family you will appreciate that. I can't see how you couldn't make wonderful memories to last a lifetime here. We fit 11 of our dear loved ones in the house, we found the accommodations very friendly to a large group. Great kitchen upstairs stocked with things you need to cook and entertain. Washer and dryer was super helpful. Living room upstairs is extremely cozy. Bedrooms are clean and inviting, perfect to relax and get away from the group if you need some time alone. We made use of the backyard behind the house to host approximately 55 guests, a bar and buffet and it was perfect. Susanna, the property manager is super helpful and responsive and a dream to work with. I can't say enough good things. Stay here!"
