  • Magical

"My boyfriend and I were looking to get away from the noise and stressful life of the city. Lo and behold, we were able to find the perfect place. Mirav's cottage is to die for. The perfect word to describe this place is "magical". It's secluded and peaceful. We never saw a single soul the entire time we were there. The fireplace and jacuzzi were extraordinary. You can tell that Mirav put a lot of time and effort into making this home spectacular, and she definitely achieved that. My boyfriend is a wonderful cook, so the kitchen was one of the highlights for him. It was very spacious and light seeps through the skylights above making it the perfect atmosphere to cook. For entertainment, there are games, puzzles, bose sound system, Vizio LCD as well, so if you have a Netflix account you can cuddle up on the couch and watch whatever you want. There's also a beautiful patio where you can lay down and get a tan (it was raining so we couldn't do that). Another highlight was Mirav's super grill. You can make some incredible burgers on that thing! The 3 days we were there felt like heaven and really felt like home as well. I caught myself calling it "home" when we went out to dinner at the nearby Red Onion. Your in touch with nature, and you really forget how peaceful life can be when you don't have to deal with the stresses of the city. If you want to get away from it all, this is the perfect place. Thanks Mirav!"

  • Truly Relaxing!

"When my fiancé and I first walked into the Blue Pearl we were in awe. Much bigger then we anticipated, we walked around taking in the sun shining from the skylights throughout the living room space and bedroom. (There is a shade for the skylight in the bedroom for those sensitive to sunlight in the AM). The kitchen was very cute and well equipped with anything you may need for a nice meal. It was nice to have different types of tea provided if you were in the mood for a cup on a cozy night or first thing in the morning. The bathroom has great hot water and the basic essentials you may need with fresh towels. We loved the small fireplace that was put in the cottage for ambience. There is good heating and AC in the cottage. Cd's and a small radio, chess, checkers and cards, books are provided for your down time. This place was very clean and the decor was like no other... It was a bit nippy outside for this time of year so we decided not to sit out front in the garden but we would love to when we come back! There are lots of shops near by which we loved and had a great time buying a few things. The people in the small town near by are very friendly. The restaurants near by have good food. A lot of organic ingredients which is always a plus for me! Overall we had a very relaxing stay and would love to revisit!"

  • Wall of Windows

"My wife and I stayed in the Zen Love Nest for 3 nights. The house looked as it did in the pictures, maybe better. One side of the house, upstairs and downstairs is all windows with no curtains. Curtains are not needed, as no one can see in, you are surrounded by woods and greenery. The hot tub on the deck was perfect for stargazing and relaxing. We were thrilled to see 2 deer in the forrest, even though we hoped they'd come a little closer. The grill on the deck was of good quality. The house was wonderful, as was our stay. The only word of caution...there is only one air conditioner in the main living space. As everything is open, it is difficult to get it cool on a very warm day. At night there was a breeze and also fans in the bedrooms to make it cooler. There was a great soft ice cream stand very close by, and a small market that sold fresh bread and groceries. The supermarket was a little further, but still not too far. Finally, the owner, Keith, was very pleasant and responsible, promptly answering all questions we had. We would highly recommend this lovely property!"

  • Family Ski Weekend!

"What a great long weekend we had! This is our annual ski trip that I give my family as a Christmas present each year for the last 5 or 6 years! This year we were privileged to stay here (Rental # 219692)!! What a great house! There were 6 adults and 3 small children! plenty of room to hang out together and eat. The bedrooms were more than comfortable! and then there is the hot tub!!!!! Holy smokes!! That was great! What a special treat! The owner made everything easy to arrange. She answered all my questions before we took the trip and had alot of recommendations for restaurants and pubs in the area. The caretaker lives in the back house and he arrived within minutes when we had a question. He also made sure we were shoveled out and safe during our 4 days here. I highly recommend this home for your family's retreat! You will walk away smiling for along time with the memories you will have made!!"
