"Just would like to say thank you to Bill, for accommodating us for our trip the Pontoon boat was having little trouble but we still got to enjoy it and he felt bad. The house is clean it is beautiful view. We BBQ swim in the lake Rode on the Pontoon and paddle boat. What a great time and Bill just made you feel like it was your home. Even went out his way to get us a bag of Ice from his stock. Class act This was second year in row me and my wife came this year we brought our cousins and they loved it as well."

"The two of us decided last minute to book this cabin for one night. The owner was awesome in responding promptly and getting us booked within a few hours.
The cabin itself is very comfortable and had everything we needed for a night. There is even an electric grill outside if you wanted to use it. Woodstock is within walking distance but for the winter I would say just make the drive. It's probably too cold to be making the 20-25 minute walk now.
There were houses close by so although you had the feeling of seclusion, you were not completely alone in the woods. This was nice because when we woke up the next morning we found out that it had snowed. However a friendly neighbor had plowed the driveway for us so we had no trouble getting out.
Overall, a very peaceful, and beautiful cabin to stay at. Outside porch and grill is a plus, along with the beautiful bathtub. The TV had cable and a DVDS player if you wanted to bring DVDs to play. Sound system sounded great in the cabin, but the dock only supports the older iPod and iPhone models (non lighting cable).
Only issue I had was that the curtains in the bedroom were more for decoration and didn't cover the whole window. Let in a lot of light and woke me up before I wanted to.
One tip, the stone floors are really cold during the winter. Maybe bring some slippers."

"We went here for my wife's 40th bday. Her parents, her brother, myself, my wife, our 4 yr old son, and our golden retriever. Everyone was comfortable and had a fantastic time. The leaves were peak color. The hot tub was unreal. Jets were strong and it felt good. We built a bonfire next to the lake and made smores. Chewy swam in the pond and chased several deer. We made a fire inside the house as well. Used the grill. Played tons of pool on the amazing pool table downstairs. Star gazed at night. The view from the deck is mind blowing. Just cant get enough of it. You are secluded enough, but still a couple min from the town for groceries. Not a bad market either! We hiked, took a train ride for the kid, ate at the Peekamoose for dinner one night and explored Phoenicia. What else? Oh, did I mention the beds? They were sooo comfortable! I slept like a baby. kept the sliding door open and the cool air was great for sleeping. Wifi worked fine. Ipod/bose unit for music. Even several TVs if so inclined, but we barely used any electronics (only to get directions and one football game. guilty). A welcome break from city life. Will definitely be back."

"My family and friends stayed this year during the winter recess in February. This was our second stay at the house and we were even more excited this year than the prior. The house has plenty to comment on, from the open floor plan, to the upstairs master loft, to the awesome fireplace, to the downstairs bar and radiant floor heating. I could go on and on but you will only truly appreciate this place if you make the trip. The town of Prattsville has a liquor store, grocery store, dinner and a local pub the "Prattsville Tavern", all which i highly recommend you visit. The proximity to Windham Mountain is perfect, maybe 12 or so minutes from the mountain.
I have already booked our vacation next year for February at the house and will continue to do so in the future. I cannot say enough good things about the owners both Anna and Paul, they are responsive and attentive to your needs. Whether you prefer to communicate via e-mail or phone they respond quickly and look to solve any problem.
I could go on and on about the house and the surrounding area, if your interested in having a great time in a great house in a great location, book a week and you will not be disappointed.
Anna and Paul, thank you very much for your hospitality and should you ever want to sell the house please let me know, its an easy decision for me."
