"I rented this house for my son's wedding. We loved it. Lots of space to spread out. Everything you would need in a kitchen. Beautiful deck and yard. And Amy was a pleasure to work with. Even calling on our arrival to make sure everything was ok. Be aware cell phone service is spotty in Roxbury and there is no internet at the house so listen to Amy's advice and give out the house phone number!"

"My friends and I stayed at Kevin and Laura's home in Bethel, NY and our stay could not have been better! We were a group of 9 friends gathering for a pre-Thanksgiving celebration. We cooked all weekend in the beautiful, open chef's kitchen with a great view of the lake and foliage. Kevin and Laura had all the amenities we needed-- from whisks, potato mashers and butcher knives to wine glasses and carafes! Kevin and Laura were so pleasant to work with and quick to respond to any questions about the house. We are hoping to make Kevin and Laura's house part of our new Friendsgiving tradition!"

"Just a great roomy place tucked in the foothills of the mountains. Quiet, peaceful, and cool. Family of five, all grown up, and plenty of space. Lots to do nearby. The owner was great, the place was clean and spacious. Couple of deer nearby eating apples every night, fox, birds. A gem."

"Ten friends and I wanted to get out of the city for the weekend, and this was the perfect cozy escape. During the day, we went hiking, exploring, and fishing (limited during the winter). The view of the reservoir is amazing. At night, we enjoyed the fire pit outside and the woodburning stove inside. There's plenty of nature to enjoy outside and enough room inside to relax and unwind. Bill stopped by to show us around and was very helpful. The only very minor issues were when we blew a fuse (our fault!) but we just went down to the basement and flipped the switch in the fuse box. In addition, we didnt have cell phone service at the house (there is Internet/wifi) which made it hard when we first got in; we realized after we explored that there are landlines throughout the house and in the barn.
We brought our dog, who adored being out of the city and running around nature. Also, there are chickens, so fresh eggs for breakfast!
Will definitely return! Thanks for the memories!"
