  • Sensational Weekend Wedding Event!

"An absolute gem! My partner and I celebrated our wedding here, and it was perfect! Christine and Susanna were a breeze to work with and made it very easy for us. From the first day we booked to the actual day/event they both were very helpful! Such great support. The house was perfect for us, we had a small-ish gathering of people for our day and the house spacious and stylish, just what we wanted. The view from the house is breathtaking and made for wonderful pictures. The perfect backdrop :) A fireplace on eery level and luxurious bedding and sofas made our stay even more comfortable. I definitely would recommend for anyone else planning their next weekend away or event."

  • Cozy and Relaxing Home Away From Home

"My family rented this house for a ski weekend at Windham Moutain. We shared it comfortably with another family. The ride to the house on a snowy Cornwalville Road was the perfect introduction to this quiet little town. As we drove up the driveway to the house, the excitement level rose. The house is located on a former farm with the accompaniments of farmhouse, multiple barns and plenty of beautiful land with the Catskill Mountains as the scenic backdrop. The home is clean and comfortable with a good working kitchen, a lovely dining room and cozy living room. The upstairs bedrooms were warm and inviting. The house has many books, games and videos which kept the kids busy when they weren't outside playing in the snow. The ski slope is not more than twenty minutes away. We skied all day and returned in the evening to cook a delicious meal. We couldn't think of a better way to do this type of vacation. And we plan on coming back again soon."

  • A Great Experience!

"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home away from home. It met our needs on so many levels. The rental is lovely and contains every amenity you might need for a short or long stay. We stayed 5 nights and were able to entertain other family members staying in the area with dinner and good family fun. The rental is situated along the Delaware river and you are able to watch it from the deck in the back of the house. The rental is even better than the pictures on the web site. The property is clean and well maintained. The rental agent responded to all our questions promptly. I would highly recommend you consider this property if you are planning to visit the area. There are restaurants and shopping in the little town of Callicoon. Matthew's is especially good if you are looking for some great food. The last thing I'll say is that I hope my family and I have the opportunity to repeat our visit to this lovely and welcoming property."

  • Very nice cabin in a quiet location

"My husband, 3 month old daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend. We arrived on a Thursday night and left on Saturday. Friday was a cold day so after going to town for breakfast, we went back to the cabin and hung out there all day - relaxing, napping and enjoying the quiet! This cabin was very nicely renovated and everything in the main room and bedroom were very nice! The kitchen was well-equipped. We didn't cook in the cabin, but I made coffee every morning and there seemed to be enough cooking supplies for those who wanted to cook. The living room has a nice 'fake' fireplace as a heater and it was very cozy. The bedroom was perfect as well. The bed was comfortable and there was ample closet space. The bathroom was adequate, but not nearly as well-done as the rest of the cabin. It looked a bit shabby. One of the best features is the outdoor hot tub! We enjoyed it in the evenings and a chilly afternoon. One suggestion to the owner would be to supply additional towels. We only had two towels and had to use them for showers and post-hot tub. Note: this house is not walking distance to town. It's about a half mile from 212 and then, once on 212, it's another mile or so to the village green. If you are looking for a place where you can walk to town...this is not it. However, if you want proximity to town but a remote, quiet place to return to at the end of an outing, then this place is great! We ate breakfast both mornings at Oriole 9 - love this place and highly recommend it! We had dinner at the Bear Cafe and at the Red Onion - both were excellent and a very short drive from the house."
