"My husband and I were looking for a place to get away after the holidays and just chill. This was the PERFECT place to do just that. The house is extremely well equipt and spotlessly clean. There was nothing we were in need for. The house was so welcoming and the vibe just felt good. Yoga mats, yoga/meditation loft, really nice bathroom, comfortable beds, washer and dryer, Gas fireplace- so nice! The outside space was amazing. We did a lot of dreaming of renting this house in the nicer weather with friends. That being said, winter at Olive Oasis is divine. We used the hot tub a ton - really really great. The fire pit got put to good use as well. We sat by the fire with glasses of scotch for an entire day. It was heaven. We were looking for a secluded property. When we pulled up to the house we were initially concerned because there is a house right next door. That concern was quickly put to rest as we realized that the house and the out door space is situated perfectly, so you really don't notice at all the neighboring house at all. The hot tub in on the opposite side of the house, so you have complete privacy. Even at the fire pit, you don't see the neighboring property. I did however think about the warmer months, if a group of friends were hanging out around the fire at night (music, laughter, talking, etc...), if that would be a problem or not? This place is magical. You can't go wrong renting here. We will absolutely be back. Thank you Dina for creating this amazing space and sharing it!"

Wonderful Farm house close to town and full of charm!
"From beginning to end this was a very easy process with the owner.
The home is very close to town and suited my groups needs very well.
Most evenings we all sat in the living room chatting around the fireplace.
Cozy and comfortable without stress.
I will for sure rent this house again next year - and some of my friends already inquired about how to rent through the year.
Walking distance to the Bear Cafe.
Quiet, cozy, affordable.

"Just had a wonderful stay at the guest house. The house is very clean, comfortable and well-equipped - they thought of & provided everything we could possibly need for our stay. It was the perfect place to stay with a baby. The property is tucked away in the trees, very private and surrounded by green, with the forest on one side. If you are interested in hiking, there is an entrance to a trail behind the house that looked nice. Mike and Robin were attentive and checked in to make sure we had everything, but also gave us plenty of space/privacy. Especially for this reasonable price, I definitely recommend the property...it is a great weekend escape!"

"This was a great place for our extended family of 14 to spend time together. There were plenty of bedrooms to accommodate several married couples, children, and some singles - 5 bedrooms with closed doors as well as some mattresses and futons for those needing less privacy. There were comfortable couches for hanging out on the main floor and in the basement game room. The hot tub worked well. The deck was large and spacious - we ate dinner together each night on the deck, after cooking out on the fire pit and charcoal barbecue that were on the lawn. The kitchen and bedrooms were well stocked and clean. The game room in the basement has a good condition pool table and pingpong table, with all the balls and equipment nicely laid out. Large washer/dryer were great for our family too. The location is somewhat secluded (next door neighbor pretty close on one side) but not too far a drive from highways and easy find at night. The internet connection was very good and reliable too, as was cellphone reception. Before we came, were somewhat concerned that there was no air conditioning - but the nights were plenty cool, and opening the windows and screened doors to let in the cooler evening air, and a window fan in the loft, was all that was needed. It did get warm during the mid-day and afternoon, especially upstairs in the loft where it can be stuffy, but we were out during the day anyway, and the basement stayed cool.
For families - be aware that the upstairs loft area is a balcony with banisters that are not childproof. We had the toddlers sleep in rooms rather than out on the loft area. And the path down to the creek in the backyard is lovely but mildly challenging - don't send very little ones down by themselves or go without proper shoes. The house has a pack-and-play as well as a backpack for carrying a baby.
Peter the owner was highly responsive by email, text, and phone, and was very helpful with questions we asked or items we needed. For a rustic vacation without 'roughing it,' this is a great choice."
