  • Fantastic!

"This was our 3rd stay at Bristol Hill. What a pleasure, as always! The house is always spotless and has everything you need, and the views and the surrounding property are amazing. Diane is very easy to reach, should one need anything more. We will definitely come back again!"

  • Wonderful Farm house close to town and full of charm!

"From beginning to end this was a very easy process with the owner. The home is very close to town and suited my groups needs very well. Most evenings we all sat in the living room chatting around the fireplace. Cozy and comfortable without stress. I will for sure rent this house again next year - and some of my friends already inquired about how to rent through the year. Walking distance to the Bear Cafe. Quiet, cozy, affordable. Thanks again!"

  • Peaceful but not too far away from town

"The two of us decided last minute to book this cabin for one night. The owner was awesome in responding promptly and getting us booked within a few hours. The cabin itself is very comfortable and had everything we needed for a night. There is even an electric grill outside if you wanted to use it. Woodstock is within walking distance but for the winter I would say just make the drive. It's probably too cold to be making the 20-25 minute walk now. There were houses close by so although you had the feeling of seclusion, you were not completely alone in the woods. This was nice because when we woke up the next morning we found out that it had snowed. However a friendly neighbor had plowed the driveway for us so we had no trouble getting out. Overall, a very peaceful, and beautiful cabin to stay at. Outside porch and grill is a plus, along with the beautiful bathtub. The TV had cable and a DVDS player if you wanted to bring DVDs to play. Sound system sounded great in the cabin, but the dock only supports the older iPod and iPhone models (non lighting cable). Only issue I had was that the curtains in the bedroom were more for decoration and didn't cover the whole window. Let in a lot of light and woke me up before I wanted to. One tip, the stone floors are really cold during the winter. Maybe bring some slippers."

"We've stayed at the Dome House many times and have thoroughly enjoyed our visits. It feels like two houses in one; the dome part, with a well stocked kitchen, dining table and entertainment center, a large comfortable sofa, and a bright bath with a double Jacuzzi tub. .The modern wing has its own great room area, dining table, and three large bedrooms, all with private baths. The nighttime view from the master bedroom windows is stunning. I especially love a black sky with bright stars intermingling with fireflies, and you can’t tell the difference between them! The house is always clean, refreshing, endlessly interesting to look at both inside and out, and offers everything we want in a vacation home (walk to town, privacy outside, screened dining in the Gazebo, high quality entertainment system and kitchen, plus very comfortable beds). Thank you, Daniel"
