"My friends and I had a great time away from it all. The house is exactly as promised, and the owner was very helpful throughout the booking process. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and would return in the future. Only regret was not making use of the pool table, but it was too nice to stay indoors! A fun nearby activity was tubing in Phoenicia, a short drive away. All around great spot."Guest: Diego Date of Stay: July 2013 Review Submitted: July 17, 2013View listing
"My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a week and a half. We had an incredible time. The cabin and surrounding woods are absolutely beautiful. 1.7 mile beautiful walk into town. Staff was wonderful and helpful to work with. Can't wait to go back."Guest: RG Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 13, 2014View listing
"We had a lovely time at this charming and comfortable cottage by a marvellous stream. Our stay was the perfect contrast to a few busy days in NYC, and in fact we spent our first 24 hours there not going anywhere, just relaxing. The cottage is clean, bright, airy, spacious and nicely furnished, the bed is very comfortable, the little kitchenette is well equipped, and the omni-present sound of the stream is just a delight. We did not meet Jane, but Billy was easy to deal with and most helpful. Did I mention the stream? We were fortunate enough to have a remarkable thunderstorm on our last evening there, and sitting on the couch in the bedroom listening to the thunder and the rain, while the stream turned into a torrent, was a total treat. This little gem of a cottage has our highest recommendation!"Guest: Paula S. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 29, 2014View listing
"When my fiancé and I first walked into the Blue Pearl we were in awe. Much bigger then we anticipated, we walked around taking in the sun shining from the skylights throughout the living room space and bedroom. (There is a shade for the skylight in the bedroom for those sensitive to sunlight in the AM). The kitchen was very cute and well equipped with anything you may need for a nice meal. It was nice to have different types of tea provided if you were in the mood for a cup on a cozy night or first thing in the morning. The bathroom has great hot water and the basic essentials you may need with fresh towels. We loved the small fireplace that was put in the cottage for ambience. There is good heating and AC in the cottage. Cd's and a small radio, chess, checkers and cards, books are provided for your down time. This place was very clean and the decor was like no other... It was a bit nippy outside for this time of year so we decided not to sit out front in the garden but we would love to when we come back! There are lots of shops near by which we loved and had a great time buying a few things. The people in the small town near by are very friendly. The restaurants near by have good food. A lot of organic ingredients which is always a plus for me! Overall we had a very relaxing stay and would love to revisit!"Guest: Crystal G.
