"We LOVE this house! Just like the last time my husband and I rented it, the place was immaculate, charming and so comfortable. This time, my sister and I enjoyed relaxing in the yard and its lovely garden. It's obvious that the owner takes great pride in the property with its tasteful decor. I highly recommend this home when you're looking for someplace special."Guest: Lynn Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 25, 2014View listing
"We spent Xmas week here, 4 adults and 4 children, 3 and under. It's a beautiful place in a great location. Five minutes walk to the village but quiet with unobstructed views. Plenty of space for everyone although we centered most of our time in the cozy dome. The finish is high quality, everything works and the furnishings suite the property. It feels like a home rather than a bare bones holiday rental. The master suite is lovely (our 2 children actually slept very happily in the walk in closet). The other bedrooms are great too. Lovely cosy place to spend a week in the winter but I am sure it's equally great in the summer."Guest: Tim B. Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: January 2, 2014View listing
"When my fiancé and I first walked into the Blue Pearl we were in awe. Much bigger then we anticipated, we walked around taking in the sun shining from the skylights throughout the living room space and bedroom. (There is a shade for the skylight in the bedroom for those sensitive to sunlight in the AM). The kitchen was very cute and well equipped with anything you may need for a nice meal. It was nice to have different types of tea provided if you were in the mood for a cup on a cozy night or first thing in the morning. The bathroom has great hot water and the basic essentials you may need with fresh towels. We loved the small fireplace that was put in the cottage for ambience. There is good heating and AC in the cottage. Cd's and a small radio, chess, checkers and cards, books are provided for your down time. This place was very clean and the decor was like no other... It was a bit nippy outside for this time of year so we decided not to sit out front in the garden but we would love to when we come back! There are lots of shops near by which we loved and had a great time buying a few things. The people in the small town near by are very friendly. The restaurants near by have good food. A lot of organic ingredients which is always a plus for me! Overall we had a very relaxing stay and would love to revisit!"Guest: Crystal G. "My husband, our two grown sons, and I traveled to the Woodstock/Phoenecia New York area for a family wedding. We decided on this home since it gave everyone plenty of space yet provided a common area. We were thrilled with the home! It is beautiful inside and out. The home basically sits in the middle of a privately owned forest with an incredible view of the Catskill Mountains. We asked the owner ahead of time for some hiking recommendations and he gave us several great options since he has done all of the local hikes. We enjoyed a nearby hike up to the top of Hunter Mountain. If you enjoy nature, you will appreciate this home and the beautiful setting! We enjoyed every aspect of this house, from the incredible decks, to the open great room with the woodburning fireplace, to the workout room, and even the spacious showers. We had everything we needed and completely enjoyed our stay!"Guest: Steve & Jennifer Williams Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 20, 2014View listing
