  • Great house, plenty of room for large groups.

"We stayed at this house for 5 days while our kids were showing at HITS. It was a great find!! Plenty of space for everyone, clean and very easy to get to. The owner was very fast and easy to work with and we loved the little town of Woodstock. We will be booking this house for future horse shows."

  • Wall of Windows

"My wife and I stayed in the Zen Love Nest for 3 nights. The house looked as it did in the pictures, maybe better. One side of the house, upstairs and downstairs is all windows with no curtains. Curtains are not needed, as no one can see in, you are surrounded by woods and greenery. The hot tub on the deck was perfect for stargazing and relaxing. We were thrilled to see 2 deer in the forrest, even though we hoped they'd come a little closer. The grill on the deck was of good quality. The house was wonderful, as was our stay. The only word of caution...there is only one air conditioner in the main living space. As everything is open, it is difficult to get it cool on a very warm day. At night there was a breeze and also fans in the bedrooms to make it cooler. There was a great soft ice cream stand very close by, and a small market that sold fresh bread and groceries. The supermarket was a little further, but still not too far. Finally, the owner, Keith, was very pleasant and responsible, promptly answering all questions we had. We would highly recommend this lovely property!"

  • Beautiful Home, Fantastic and Helpful Owner

"My family and I recently stayed at this log cabin in the Catskills' and we only have wonderful things to say. First of all, the owner was great in answering all of my questions with quick responses before and during our rental. Pros: The house was clean (it felt like someone was there the day before and cleaned the home and property, which is always a great feeling to have), property was very well maintained, the yard was great for our dogs which was private and secluded with the wonderful trees lining the property, but not too secluded that might give some an uncomfortable feeling of being alone for miles in each direction. The deck was great with LOTS of seating for everyone. We did not use the fireplace/hot tub as it was fairly warm weather when we went up, but both looked like they could be lots of fun. There were ceiling fans and even stand-up fans in the bedrooms (which were great for one night with the rising humidity and thunderstorm rolling through). House was well equipped with everything we needed included towels, condiments in the fridge, pots and pans, grilling utensil, and pretty much everything you might need. Small little grocery store in Prattsville only 10 mins away was very convenient if we did need anything as well. Cute little town of Windham not too far and a GREAT swimming spot in the river only 10 mins away in Prattsville. The owner was the nicest and most thorough person I have dealt with which made me feel very comfortable renting the property and knowing that if there was a problem (there wasn't), she would be there to help. She sent a list of great restaurants, places to go, things to do, etc. Cons: I only mention these things because some people may want to know them, but they did not detract from out experience in the home. The upstairs beds were a little rough to sleep on the first night, but once the family got used to them, they were fine. The beds downstairs were extremely comfortable, so if anyone in your family has back problems, the downstairs beds are great for them. Again, this wasn't a problem for us because we prefer charcoal grills and bring our own grill on vacation, but the gas grill at the home was thoroughly used. The grill was still usable, so not a huge problem at all, but worth mentioning if you like to grill. Overall: The home was WONDERFUL and had everything we needed, with a fantastic owner. The yard was great and we will be staying there again/recommending property to friends/family."

  • GREAT PLACE ALL AROUND

"Me and my friends do a trip every year with our sons, we were 12 all together and this property from the house, to the cabin, deck, fire place and river was excellent we had the time of our life, the weather was very hot and we spend lots of time hanging out in the river, we also had a great time sitting around the big fire pit at night telling stories and just enjoing the peaceful surroundings, I also like to said thanks to the owner Larry he is a very friendly person easy to talk to who goes out of his way to make sure your rental goes smoothly as possible. This is a great place to get together with your family or friends put away any stress you may have and just enjoy life."
