  • Very cozy, homey, warm, comfortable, relaxing.

"This house is definitely one of my favorite places to be during the winter time. It's the second time I've rented it and definitely won't be the last. The property is huge and the view is tremendously gorgeous. Waking up in the morning to a view of a lake and the mountains in the background is breathtaking. Very private. Very safe. And the amenities are incredible. Sauna works amazing and heats up very fast. fireplace is cozy. Couches and beds are comfortable. There's even a flat screen tv with cable (no need for it when you have so much more to enjoy). And definitely a spacious dining area. The owner, Nick, is a very pleasant person to deal with. Responds immediately to emails, calls, and texts. And over all is a very nice person from what I can tell by my experience dealing with him. I have absolutely no complaints except the fact that I did not want to go back home! Definitely coming back!"

  • Exceptionally comfortable and cosy little apartment

"We really appreciated our stay in Nick's condo for a long weekend in Windham, NY. The apartment is really clean and cosy and everything was really above expectations for such a competitive price. It's five minutes away from the town of Windham and the the surrounding is wonderful. The owner was very kind and understanding. We had a great time and we will be back! Thanks."

  • Family Ski Weekend!

"What a great long weekend we had! This is our annual ski trip that I give my family as a Christmas present each year for the last 5 or 6 years! This year we were privileged to stay here (Rental # 219692)!! What a great house! There were 6 adults and 3 small children! plenty of room to hang out together and eat. The bedrooms were more than comfortable! and then there is the hot tub!!!!! Holy smokes!! That was great! What a special treat! The owner made everything easy to arrange. She answered all my questions before we took the trip and had alot of recommendations for restaurants and pubs in the area. The caretaker lives in the back house and he arrived within minutes when we had a question. He also made sure we were shoveled out and safe during our 4 days here. I highly recommend this home for your family's retreat! You will walk away smiling for along time with the memories you will have made!!"

  • Wonderful long weekend getaway

"My wife, myself, our 8-year-old daughter and another couple stayed at the farmhouse for a long weekend in early November. We had a great time and felt right at home in the cottage, on the grounds and throughout the surrounding area. We had some cold weather the first night and the hillsides were dusted with snow, which gave everything an early-winter feel. We cranked up the wood-fired cookstove in the kitchen and it filled the house with that warmth that only cast iron can provide (there's also a regular furnace and thermostats to heat the place). The house was clean, neat and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with cookware, utensils, dishes, etc. On the first morning, our host gave our little girl a quick tour of the henhouse on the working farm, which she thoroughly enjoyed. After breakfast that included some of the farm-fresh eggs, we took a long walk on the rail trial right out back. It passes through quiet old farm country bounded by the wooded hillsides of the northern Catskills. We spent many hours in Hobart's bookstores right up the road, there are seven of them by my count and the town is a mecca for anyone who loves reading. We toured some of the country roads and stopped in to some antique shops, farmstands and sampled some other local spots. We hope to return in the spring with our bikes to ride a longer section of the rail trail. Also, I'd like to bring my flyrod to fish the West Branch of the Delaware, a stone's throw from the farm. In all we had a great time and I would highly recommend the farmhouse to anyone seeking a quiet getaway. -rjj"
