"I can't say enough about this house, including the property, the pool, and the awe-inspiring view of the mountains and greenery in the back yard. The location was superb as the house is on top of the hill, and we spent one evening just gazing at the stars because there was no light interference to block our view. The house is wonderfully maintained and was more than comfortable for us. This was a special trip to Cooperstown with my 3 grown sons and best friend of 50 years. As much as we enjoyed our visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame, we unanimously agreed that we would vacation here again just because of the location. I give it my best recommendation."

"The Fly Creek House was everything we wanted for our family's Dreams Park stay. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. We didn't want to leave! The property was incredibly beautiful. There were ducks in the creek out back and deer across the field. The drive was very quick to the park. We enjoyed taking walks to the Fly Creek Cider Mill. Hopefully we will be back in the future."

Many positives to this estate, beautiful with some work to be done
"We pulled up to the estate and were pleasantly surprised by the overall appearance. The scenery is stunning. Located on a 140+ acre working farm, the place can't be faulted for natural beauty. Greg the host is very kind and hospitable. The house itself is very spacious with three large bedrooms and three full baths. The pond up the hill was a welcome respite after a full day of baseball. We were playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park and unfortunately, we would have liked to be a little bit closer to the games. It was about a 25 minute drive from the property, making it difficult to quickly run back to the house between games. However, when we were at the house we did enjoy our time there.
We have stayed at many self catering properties and the one thing I will say is that most of them are solely for rental. Know that at this one, the owner does keep a lot of personal items. A lot of people may be able to overlook this, but we were just not used to this and it gives the appearance that he lives there (at least part of the time). Also, while we were staying there, several workers did come and go and while not overly obtrusive, it was unexpected, especially for my father who was trying to nap one day.
The stair case is a bit more ladder like so for anyone with mobility issues, just know that it is an old farmhouse and staircases were different back then.
Overall, we did enjoy the peaceful outdoor spaces including the front and side patios, grilling on the BBQ, and spending quality time as a family outdoors and unplugged. As Greg will tell you, some of it is still a work in progress, and I can imagine it will really be beautiful when it is all done."
