  • Highly Recommend

"My family and I were visiting the area, like many, because my son was playing in a tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park. We did not want to be confined to a hotel room and decided to rent a house for the week. We decided on Tuscarora after seeing the beautiful pictures and great reviews online. While we were a 20 minute drive to the park, it was worth the little bit of extra drive time to enjoy such a beautiful property (the drive itself is quite scenic and pleasant). After being at baseball games all day, it was so nice to come back to a relaxing environment whether to sit outside on the beautiful patio or by the pond. While the house is geographically close to the park it felt a world away. Depending on the day's game schedule, we would sometimes come back between games and it was a nice reprieve from a lot of baseball (in fact my daughter brought some of the teenaged sisters of the team back for an afternoon and they raved about the house for the rest of the week). Greg is a terrific host and made sure we were all set and gave us some great recommendations for some local restaurants. I would highly recommend renting Tuscarora to anyone but particularly if you are in the area for baseball. I think it is a much better option than some of the hotels that may be a bit closer. Like us, you will be glad you made the decision."

  • Amazing get-a-way from it all!

"This little cabin has the utmost charm of an original 1920's lake cabin. Our host Bobbie, greeted us the day we arrived with all the details of the cabin. The porch was the highlight in the sun, the rain, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its a quiet area, the lake is clean and fantastic to swim in, fish or paddle on. I had a great stay and would definitely return!"

  • The ONLY place to stay if you are attending Dreams Park Tournaments

"We booked this home because of the proximity to Dreams Park but it only took us moments after walking in the door to view it as so much more than a "great location." It was absolutely charming! It was so warm and inviting. My husband said it was like being on vacation but feeling "at home" because it was so comfortable. All of the furniture and décor are very well thought out, functional and comfortable. The family room/dining room has a great open feeling and larger windows that overlook beautiful grounds which makes the house feel even that much larger. Both bathrooms are very nice. All of the beds and pillows are comfortable like in your home rather than a homeowner just throwing something in there to fill space. The washer and dryer are on the main floor which is super convenient. The baseball themed items in some of the rooms are a great touch and very interesting. And of course, back to one of the key selling features for us....location..... When we pulled out of Dreams Park, we barely began to discuss a game and then realized we were already pulling in the driveway. The proximity was awesome for attending the tournament. We ran home in between every game. it made it very convenient for eating healthier food, less expensive and not having to wait in outrageous lines at the restaurants. The homeowner, Darlene, was "darling!" She was so responsive and patient when I sent her questions in advance. We were fortunate enough to meet her when we arrived and she was absolutely delightful. She genuinely cared about our stay and even went out of her way to take care of us AFTER our stay when she shipped items back to us that we forgot. We loved this property!"

  • Autumn Rental

"Exceptional Waterfront property on Lake Ostego. Had a wonderful time renting this property for my family (parents, sister's family & girlfriend). Cooperstown and Lake Otsego has something for everyone - Baseball Hall of Fame, Ommegang Brewery, Restaurants, and of course the beautiful lake. Rental House is exceptional & immaculate - special features we enjoyed: Boat House, docks for rental boat, fireplace, heated pool, spacious bedrooms, and kayaks."

Enjoy The Sights From The Comfort Of A Spacious Vacation Home

So you want to go on a vacation, but you're sick of spending time in hotels. We don't blame you a bit. After all, hotels are cramped, overstuffed, and completely impersonal. When you stay in a vacation home, you'll get the personal touch that's sorely lacking from hotel rooms, plus tons more. More bedrooms, more bathrooms, and more space in general means you'll be a lot more comfortable staying in one of the Central Leatherstockings cabins than a hotel. Plus you get amenities like a full kitchen, so you can cook your own meals without relying on continental breakfasts or room service for meals, and in some cases porches, decks, hot-tubs and fireplaces—great for recuperating after a long day outside.

History, Culture, and Outdoor Activities Abound in Cooperstown

The jaw-dropping natural beauty of Cooperstown is just one reason to pay the town a visit. There are plenty of museums to check out, including the Baseball and Soccer Halls of Fame.
