"We were all so excited to spend the weekend in Cooperstown. We walked in to the most beautiful place. Not a detail missed. It was beyond spotless and the smell of all the wood was just amazing. We had big plans to tour the town. The house was so homey that we didn't want to leave. From the fire places, views, decks, boat house, gorgeous décor and a fully stocked kitchen, we just can not say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Hoping to make this an annual trip!"

Many positives to this estate, beautiful with some work to be done
"We pulled up to the estate and were pleasantly surprised by the overall appearance. The scenery is stunning. Located on a 140+ acre working farm, the place can't be faulted for natural beauty. Greg the host is very kind and hospitable. The house itself is very spacious with three large bedrooms and three full baths. The pond up the hill was a welcome respite after a full day of baseball. We were playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park and unfortunately, we would have liked to be a little bit closer to the games. It was about a 25 minute drive from the property, making it difficult to quickly run back to the house between games. However, when we were at the house we did enjoy our time there.
We have stayed at many self catering properties and the one thing I will say is that most of them are solely for rental. Know that at this one, the owner does keep a lot of personal items. A lot of people may be able to overlook this, but we were just not used to this and it gives the appearance that he lives there (at least part of the time). Also, while we were staying there, several workers did come and go and while not overly obtrusive, it was unexpected, especially for my father who was trying to nap one day.
The stair case is a bit more ladder like so for anyone with mobility issues, just know that it is an old farmhouse and staircases were different back then.
Overall, we did enjoy the peaceful outdoor spaces including the front and side patios, grilling on the BBQ, and spending quality time as a family outdoors and unplugged. As Greg will tell you, some of it is still a work in progress, and I can imagine it will really be beautiful when it is all done."

"This lodge is beautiful. It's set in a beautiful location! Beautiful rolling hills and fields. My husband and I both had such a great weekend being able to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Lodge was very clean and cozy. We will definitely be planning a return trip!"

"This was our 4th consecutive Columbus Day weekend at the Treehouse. Once again, we had an amazing time. We have a group of 6 adults and 6 kids, and the house is truly perfect for us. The views are incredible and the house is warm and inviting. Plenty of space for the adults to hang out while the kids play downstairs (great TV and kids area). Plus there is a firepit for smores and kayaks by the dock. The owner always goes out of his way to be accommodating - and the house is always spotless upon arrival. We have stayed in a few other Cooperstown houses and this one blows them away. Thanks Bill!"
