"We really enjoyed this house in Cooperstown. It is a unique and beautiful property and worked very well for our family. We had a large family wedding in Cooperstown with many family members coming from near and far. The property was a perfect base for all our activities. It has a great layout for a large group of adults and children and had everything that we needed. I would definitely highly recommend to others and hope to get another change for a future stay."Guest: Sam P. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 17, 2014View listing
"We stayed with some families during the Cooperstown baseball tournament and must say we couldn't have had a better time. The house is spectacular, and very clean with a kitchen that has everything, comfy beds in clean bedrooms with great views. The siblings were fully occupied between swimming in a beautiful lake with a water trampoline, a high end hot tub, and a great game room. After long hot days of watching baseball we enjoyed evenings relaxing on the lovely deck overlooking the lake. We caught some bluegill, perch and bass off the boat dock and had multiple visits from 'Charlie' the 30 pound carp. Easy and scenic drive to downtown, and the Cooperstown DreamsPark. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. It was an unforgettable stay."Guest: Kari M. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 2, 2014View listing
"We booked this home because of the proximity to Dreams Park but it only took us moments after walking in the door to view it as so much more than a "great location." It was absolutely charming! It was so warm and inviting. My husband said it was like being on vacation but feeling "at home" because it was so comfortable. All of the furniture and décor are very well thought out, functional and comfortable. The family room/dining room has a great open feeling and larger windows that overlook beautiful grounds which makes the house feel even that much larger. Both bathrooms are very nice. All of the beds and pillows are comfortable like in your home rather than a homeowner just throwing something in there to fill space. The washer and dryer are on the main floor which is super convenient. The baseball themed items in some of the rooms are a great touch and very interesting. And of course, back to one of the key selling features for us....location..... When we pulled out of Dreams Park, we barely began to discuss a game and then realized we were already pulling in the driveway. The proximity was awesome for attending the tournament. We ran home in between every game. it made it very convenient for eating healthier food, less expensive and not having to wait in outrageous lines at the restaurants. The homeowner, Darlene, was "darling!" She was so responsive and patient when I sent her questions in advance. We were fortunate enough to meet her when we arrived and she was absolutely delightful. She genuinely cared about our stay and even went out of her way to take care of us AFTER our stay when she shipped items back to us that we forgot. We loved this property!"Guest: Corporate Planner Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 5, 2014View listing
