Amazing get-a-way from it all!
"This little cabin has the utmost charm of an original 1920's lake cabin. Our host Bobbie, greeted us the day we arrived with all the details of the cabin. The porch was the highlight in the sun, the rain, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its a quiet area, the lake is clean and fantastic to swim in, fish or paddle on. I had a great stay and would definitely return!"

"I feel the cottage was perfect . We were there for a 4day fishing trip .The weather was far from good but I have no complaints with the cabin. There was 4 of us and we had more than enough room. Every time one of said "I wonder if there is this" you look around and there it was. Gail was a pleasure to work with. Any question I would ask her she would get right back. The neighbors were very friendly and more than willing to answer a question you might have. This is a great place to stay and I will recommend this little cottage"

"We were at the Sylvan Beach House for a first time ever, four-generational vacation, and from my 84-year-old mother down to my three toddler grandchildren, we all loved it. Our only complaint would be the week flew by way too quickly! The house, the deck, the beach - all gorgeous. The house is well-appointed and well kept. We liked how the kitchen and living room are one large room, allowing us to be together but still have plenty of room. The wall that faces the lake is almost entirely glass, providing an incredible view from inside the house. The first couple days we were there were rainy, but even those days were enjoyable, watching the rain (and an intense thunder storm) over the lake. Having very young children with us, I would offer the caveat that the house is not designed with little ones in mind. We expected that, came prepared, and set about baby-proofing as soon as we arrived. The kids loved playing on the beach, and several of us had fun in the kayaks. Carl was always quick to respond to any questions we had, both before we went and while we were there. The area was quiet, the sunsets breathtaking. This was a very long overdue, much needed vacation, and we are grateful to have been able to spend time together at such a nice place. :-)"

"Our family vacation was amazing. During our childhood, we camped adjacent to this property. It was like going home. Now we have grown children and it was so awesome to share this experience with them. We rented a speed boat for the week with CJ's Boat Rentals and used it every day. So it was great to have a dock. The lake shore area was perfect, complete with a fire pit, a canoe and kayaks. We even had a family of ducks visit us every day. The house was the perfect size for 9 people. The only recommendations would be to purchase new cookware and have several serving bowls. Also the WiFi service needs to be upgraded."
