  • Bristol Harbor at its best ...

"While the listing description was accurate, it understated the quality of the unit. This condo was large, lovely, well cared for with plenty of supplies, and very clean. Having stayed at most of the VRBO units at Bristol Harbor, each with a few shortcomings/complaints, we didn't have any complaints at the Laytons. We all thought this was the very nicest! Thank you!"

  • Relaxing getaway!

"My wife and I stayed at this beach house for 5 days in September. This rental is very good value for the money. Very roomy 1 bedroom cottage, fully equipped with everything you need. Excellent location at the waters edge. Only 5 minutes into town and restaurants. We enjoyed a bottle of wine in the evening while sitting around the campfire and watching the stars. Fishing was good, Weather was amazing. Grape festival was a lot of fun. Enjoyed the local restaurants and wineries. We will definitely stay here again. Owner was very accommodating and helpful. 5 STARS*****"

  • Incredible Views

"The condo looks better than in the photos posted. This place is very clean and provides ample room for 4 adults and more. The views are stunning from the balcony where we had our morning coffee. An easy walk (even for one member in our party with respiratory issues) to the elevator will take you to the harbor and the beach. Since it was after Labor Day, we had the beach to ourselves. We also put chairs out on the dock and watched the sailboats go by. We were in the area for a wedding but had an enjoyable time at Bristol Hills. The owners were very receptive to comments and questions. The welcome basket was a nice touch and they even mailed me back a phone charger that I left behind. Great service, great views, and great owners will have me coming back when I don’t have previous engagements. The property has plenty of cooking utensils, pots/pans, and glassware, but bring your cone coffee filters; we brought cup filters which didn’t work (but at least we remembered the coffee)."

  • Review of Lkeside Home

"There were 22 in our group and the owner very graciously agreed to provide one more bed to accommodate us. The ages of our group were 7 to 76 and everyone was pleased with the accommodations. Our main purpose for wanting to rent a house in this area was so we could attend the Hill Cumorah Pageant in Palmyra. It was about 20 miles away. The fact that the lake was close to the house was a great advantage because we could relax on the veranda and still watch our grandchildren playing in the water. We loved the shopping, especially at Wigmans. We didn't give it a 5 star rating because there were several small items that we felt needed repair. We brought these to the attention of the owner, so they may very well have been taken care of by now. The housekeeper, Claudia, was very helpful in answering questions that we had."
