  • 2nd time and just as wonderful

"We very much enjoyed our 2nd stay "At The Corner" to attend our daughter's graduation from Ithaca College. The house was everything we expected and more; with the addition of the 5th bedroom on the first floor. The house is very comfortable, clean and full of interresting furniture and decorative pieces. The beds were comfortable, rooms spacious and quiet and the bathrooms were well supplied with big thristy towels. This rental property is very accurately represented on the VRBO site, its location is quiet and peaceful but easily accessible to all the area has to offer. I would highly recommend this property and would look to stay here once again should the need arise."

  • Nice vacation spot for two small families

"We had a great time staying at this house by Taughannock State Park. All the other comments on here are correct, but I wanted to add a few things that I would have liked to have known prior to staying here. 1. The house is very close to the road. The main photo on the site here is taken right from the edge of the driveway and Route 89. For some reason I was expecting this to be a quiet spot, set back from the road, but if you are there in the summer, prepare for traffic noise, trucks, motorcycles, etc. It was loud. Also, despite only being 4/10 of a mile from the State Park, due to the speed of the traffic and shoulder width, walking there seems a bit foolhardy. 2. At least half of the windows downstairs don't open either due to them being built that way, or simply being broken. It wasn't possible to get a cross breeze, so it's a bit warm in the house. It would have been nice to have a few more fans available. There are three "vornado-style" plus a very small desk fan. Besides that, it's very well equipped, the beds are VERY comfortable and it is a great location for getting to Ithaca/Taughannock, etc. While I'm not sure we'd stay here again, it is definitely worth a look. The owners were great, and even turned us on to some Chanterelles in the backyard!"

  • Family Get Together

"We had a wonderful stay at the Baldwin House. All 14 of us always found something to do, whether it was using the pool, enjoying drinks in the cabana or site seeing in the Ithaca or Cornell area. A lovely remolded kitchen was stocked with several items that made our shopping list a little smaller. New washing and dryer located in one of the lofts was very helpful. A memorable time was had by all. Thank you, Barrie"

  • Fantastic!

"We had such a wonderful vacation at Rocky Dock. We had seven adults and two small children. The adults loved the deck and the docks, as well as the kayak and the wineries. The kids loved everything - the play house, throwing rocks in the lake, the kayak, jumping off the dock. If you have a very small child (ours was 1) you need to bring something for eating, as a booster would not work well on the bar stools. We had a clip-on high chair that worked perfectly. The living area was a little cramped on rainy days and at night when everyone was inside, but it was manageable. We plan on returning!"

You'll find that people from Ithaca have a great deal of pride regarding their town. Many of them wear the classic "Ithaca is Gorges" t-shirt to show off that pride. Surrounded by lakes and mountains and with streams running right through town, it is true that Ithaca is gorgeous. For those who can't live in Ithaca year round, spending time in one of the available Ithaca vacation rentals is a great way to enjoy the city and the region on a part-time basis.

Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall

One of the great thing about Ithaca vacation rentals is that they can be enjoyed at any time of the year. Summers are luscious. The foliage in the fall sets the mountains ablaze with color. Winter is a wonderland. And spring is reawakening. Whether staying in one of the Ithaca cottages or one of the Cayuga Lake houses, every season in Ithaca is magical in its own way.

Save Like a King

Ithaca vacation rentals will give you the ability to live like a king while saving on the overall cost of your vacation. Ithaca cottages and Cayuga Lake houses offer amenities like fully equipped kitchens, two to three bathrooms, and private laundry facilities, that are only found in the fanciest of hotel suites. The best part is, the amenities that are found in Ithaca vacation rentals come at a fraction of the price in comparison to what they would cost at a hotel.
