  • 2nd time and just as wonderful

"We very much enjoyed our 2nd stay "At The Corner" to attend our daughter's graduation from Ithaca College. The house was everything we expected and more; with the addition of the 5th bedroom on the first floor. The house is very comfortable, clean and full of interresting furniture and decorative pieces. The beds were comfortable, rooms spacious and quiet and the bathrooms were well supplied with big thristy towels. This rental property is very accurately represented on the VRBO site, its location is quiet and peaceful but easily accessible to all the area has to offer. I would highly recommend this property and would look to stay here once again should the need arise."

  • Wonderful Stay

"We rented this house for 3 nights over Ithaca Graduation. I wish I had found it sooner during my daughter's college days in Ithaca! The house is very well equipped and maintained. It is not a huge house, but a perfect size. there were 4 of us and it was quite comfortable. The outside fire pit is a nice touch and we sat outside overlooking the lake. The views are just beautiful. The house is high quality. It has many extras, such as gas fireplace in the family room & a Jacuzzi in the master. There is a walkway/stairway to the lake, (It may be too steep for an elderly person) but perfectly fine for us. It was too cold to swim, but the water looks very clean. We did lay on the deck and absorb the sun.You can also take a walk along the lake for a bit. Provided are towels, linens, spices. I would definitely return. It is away from the traffic of Ithaca, but close enough to go to town and make the graduation on time! (on a 10-15 mins form the campus). We toured vineyards on Cayuga and found Pumpkin Farm Bistro for lunch. Overall a great weekend, Thank you Jennifer!"

  • Great graduation weekend

"We recently rented both the carriage house and the historic church, sharing the property with another family, for Cornell graduation weekend. The location and property were perfect for all of us to be able to gather and celebrate. Plenty of room and gorgeous outdoor areas!"

  • Comfy, Cozy and Convenient Cottage!

"I have nothing but great things to say about our visit to Mockingbird Cottage. We used the house as our main base while dropping our freshman off at Cornell. We had our seventh grader with us as well and the house felt quite spacious for us all to settle in and relax. There are three comfortable beds adorned with luxurious linens. One bedroom is on the main floor with a magical view of the peaceful private yard. The other bedrooms are on the lower floor which has its own bathroom and small living space with a TV and fireplace---perfect for our sons. The kitchen was stocked with all of the necessary appliances and utensils needed to cook wonderful meals. A shopping center with a grocery store, take-out Chinese and a few other restaurants is conveniently located right down the road when wanting to eat at home in the dining room just off of the kitchen. Cornell is a mere five minute drive from the cottage yet we felt like we were a world away when on property, which is professionally landscaped with beautiful perennials. A lovely outdoor deck with comfortable chairs provide the chance to admire the birds and the rolling hills in the distance. We see no reason to stay anywhere else over the next four years when visiting our son and sightseeing throughout the Finger Lakes region. This cozy cottage was the perfect fit for our family's needs."

You'll find that people from Ithaca have a great deal of pride regarding their town. Many of them wear the classic "Ithaca is Gorges" t-shirt to show off that pride. Surrounded by lakes and mountains and with streams running right through town, it is true that Ithaca is gorgeous. For those who can't live in Ithaca year round, spending time in one of the available Ithaca vacation rentals is a great way to enjoy the city and the region on a part-time basis.

Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall

One of the great thing about Ithaca vacation rentals is that they can be enjoyed at any time of the year. Summers are luscious. The foliage in the fall sets the mountains ablaze with color. Winter is a wonderland. And spring is reawakening. Whether staying in one of the Ithaca cottages or one of the Cayuga Lake houses, every season in Ithaca is magical in its own way.

Save Like a King

Ithaca vacation rentals will give you the ability to live like a king while saving on the overall cost of your vacation. Ithaca cottages and Cayuga Lake houses offer amenities like fully equipped kitchens, two to three bathrooms, and private laundry facilities, that are only found in the fanciest of hotel suites. The best part is, the amenities that are found in Ithaca vacation rentals come at a fraction of the price in comparison to what they would cost at a hotel.

Whether you are looking for a getaway by yourself, an intimate weekend with your special someone, or plan to bring along the entire royal army, there are Ithaca vacation rentals that will meet your needs. Be sure to check out the Cayuga Lake houses as well as the Ithaca cottages.
