  • Wonderful restful unique fingerlakes cottage

"With inspiring views that may induce a gentle, enjoyable, vertigo this cottage offers a unique finger lakes experience, The cottage is a tastefully restored old fashioned finger lakes cottage. The location is ideal for exploring the central finger lakes region and the owners Ed and Dennis are available if any need should arise. The beachfront has a distinctive feel and I enjoyed my daily kayak paddles from this launch point. My wife, son, and I had a great experience and I definitely recommend Twin pines as a vacation lodging."

  • Unique Place to Stay--even if you don't like wine!

"My husband and I recently rode our motorcycle up from PA to explore the Fingerlakes. If you like fancy, pristine, accomodations—don't stay here. But if you like cozy, welcoming and totally different—this is the place!!! I had found this "camp" online but was hesitant to book it online as pictures can be deceiving. We really wanted to stay in one of the yurts, but they were booked. One of the older cabins was available—and once we got there, we decided it was perfect for us. I called it our "cabbage" as it was part cabin, part cottage—it had everything we needed with old-school charm. It was the perfect home base, as we took day trips (to Ithaca and Skaneatelas), to come home and enjoy a cold beer on the dock or our little porch. (Yes, we realize it is wine country, but we beer drinkers found plenty to do!) We felt right at home and truly enjoyed everyone we met there....including visits from the resident pets! It was a bit pricey, but there wasn't much to choose from in that area—and we decided it was worth every penny. We hope to go back someday with friends. Fellow Bikers: the long gravel driveway once you turn of the main road was a bit unnerving the first time, but not bad once you get used to it (but don't do in the dark the first time). Also if you rent one of the older cabins, you can park your bike under roof at night. Rode 800 miles in 4 days--great trip!"

  • Family Get Together

"We had a wonderful stay at the Baldwin House. All 14 of us always found something to do, whether it was using the pool, enjoying drinks in the cabana or site seeing in the Ithaca or Cornell area. A lovely remolded kitchen was stocked with several items that made our shopping list a little smaller. New washing and dryer located in one of the lofts was very helpful. A memorable time was had by all. Thank you, Barrie"
