  • Beyond expectations

"The pictures do not do this home justice. It is very large and comfortable and nicely decorated. Owner extremely accomodating. Pets welcome but you would never know any visited there. Family of four had more than enough room. Lots of beautiful nature site seeing in the area."

  • Loved honeoye lake cottage !!! =)

"The home was clean and well kept with all the amenities the family needed. The bedrooms are all spacious and very clean. We had a great time. Overall, a very nice stay for a peaceful getaway for our family. We would come recommend this property for families and plan to return again when we visit the Finger Lakes. Thanks for having us at your property and for your hospitality! ** The town is small but has everything that you would need - gas station, restaurants, grocery store, etc. We also drove to Rochester. We also took a day trip to Dansville to visit Stony Brook State Park. The cottage is also within a 10-20 minute drive to Canandaigua. I would definitely recommend this cottage to any friends and family - great for all occasions."

  • A month in Heaven or close to it

"We stayed at Serenity for the month of September 2013. What a delight. We had never been to the Finger Lakes region of NY state and the Serenity Lake House was the absolutly perfect place to center our activities. Quiet setting, on Honeoye Lake with a fire pit overlooking the lake - wow! The house was immaculate when we arrived, with all the accouterments you could ever need in the kitchen and house. The little town of Honeoye is only a couple of miles up the road and is quaint and peaceful. The towns of Livonia, Naples and Canandaigua were all within 25 minutes driving and have great character, 5 star restaurants, walking and bicycling trails and many local golf courses to boot. Rochester is less than an hour away, and you can access the Erie Canal walking and bicycle trail that is paved for some 340 miles across NY state. Unbelievable experience for seniors and anyone else who enjoys the outdoors and the history of our great country. We can't say enough good things about our stay at the Lake House. The owner, Karen, was great to work with s well. Terrific place, great area - we would love to come back!"

Honeoye Lake Travel Tips

Honeoye Lake Vacation Rentals Are Perfect all Year

In the western woods of New York, where glaciers have forged a lacework of rivers and waterways, sits Honeoye Lake. This shallow coastline is not as famed as its more impressive siblings, such as Seneca or Cayuga, but it does offer a rare chance to travelers. No matter what the season, Honeoye Lake can be the perfect destination. Mild summers and deep winters allow it to please throughout the year. It is certain to appeal to all of your needs. And, with Honeoye Lake vacation rentals, you'll always experience that appeal in style.

Honeoye Lake Resorts: Meet Your Demands

Summer devotees swear by the heat. They want sandand recreation. Honeoye offers that in abundance. Travel the Canandaigua Wine Trail for tastings and sun-soaked scenery. Join the annual Trout Derbies and try to chase those clever fish. Let the Marvin Performing Arts Center delight you with outdoor concerts. Play at the beach and discover nine challenging golf courses scattered along picturesque views. For those craving winter, however, Honeoye Lake Resorts will still enchant. Let the Ring of Fire, a yearly celebration that marks the change of the weather, lead you to ice-skating, sledding, and fishing. Follow the Foliage Tour and watch the leaves shimmer. And, hurry to nearby Bristol Mountain, where you'll be able to ski The Vertical; the famed summit with a 2200 ft. elevation. You'll have all the snow you need.

Finger Lakes Cabins: Choose Comfort

Whether you're longing for warm afternoons or pleading for chilly mornings, Honeoye Lake will offer every thrill. From hiking tours to simply lounging in the waves, you'll never be without amusement. And, with Finger Lakes cabins and Honeoye Lake vacation rentals, you'll never be without convenience. Place yourself in the center of Honeoye. Don't ruin your season with another hotel. Instead find an affordable alternative that will let you worry over nothing beyond your adventures.
