"Besides the cottage itself – everything was really comfortable, the beds were comfortable, it was very, very clean, and the view was great – you can’t say enough good things about the owners. We felt very welcomed, they’re great. If you can’t get along with these owners, you can’t get along! We came in the fall so the colors were beautiful, and of course the area is gorgeous. We had very crisp, cool nights and mornings, but felt very snug in the cottage. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. This is a very authentic, old fashioned cottage that has been improved with all the right updates, but without sacrificing the original feel. Highly recommend!"

"Our family spent Easter weekend at this awesome home! My husband & I with our four children, my parents, and my sister were all very comfortable & were blown away by the vintage charm of this home. Wide plank floors, beautiful vintage buffets & armoires greeted us, - lovely decor all around...yet not at all stuffy & incredibly family friendly. I wanted to pick this house up & take it with me.
The house was incredibly clean. When we arrived everything was fresh & inviting. And, everything you can need is provided including towels & sheets...which is plus - less stuff to pack! In addition the kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you could possibly need for cooking in and there were plenty of paper supplies such as toilet paper & paper towels as well.
There is a knock-out view of the lake! There's an incredible front porch with plenty of porch seating. It was pretty cold the weekend we were there. (The lake was still mostly frozen and we woke up to snow on Easter Sunday!) So, we didn't get to utilize the porch nearly as much as we would have liked. But, in warmer weather, we're sure you would spend a lot of time there.
The bedrooms are nice and large. And, the downstairs also has plenty of space to spread out in. The only downside is that there is limited 'lounge around' seating. It would have been nice to have another couch or so. But, we made up for it in spending a lot of time at either the dining room or kitchen tables playing cards & other games.
We've stayed many places in the years that we've been visiting the Fingerlakes. And, this is definitely one of our favorites. And, the off season rate was just fantastic. We'll be back for sure!"

"We rented this house and Lakespell, next door. It was perfect. We had a lot of people (filled both houses for 3 days) and did all the cooking and socializing at Reunion house. The people tht got the lake. IWW rooms were thrilled, but every room was comfortable. If there were a recommendation for improvement it would be to have a linen service so that renters did not have to worry about towels and sheets. Not many people have the ability to cover 14 beds and provide that many towels. We found a service called Connect a Service and they were great, but it would,d be nice if it were covered in the rental. Outside of that suggestion, the house and property was perfect. We loved spending our nights at the beach with a fire. We also loved the fact that exercise was built in.....those steps....phew!"
