"We were very pleased with our rental experience. Being directly on the water was the best part. We were in and out of lake many times during our stay to cool off. The closeness to the best Keuka Lake wineries and restaurants was ideal! Ed and Delia were wonderful hosts and we would definitely return!"

Last minute summer vacation & birthday celebration
"Our stay at the Overlook Cabin was highly enjoyable and relaxing! Mike was very accommodating and easy to work with for renting this property. The cabin is set back from the road surrounded by a large grassy yard and then woods, secluding it from neighbors. The cabin was clean upon arrival and the bedrooms were spacious. The location of the cabin is nice especially since you could visit all of the major wineries on the Keuka Lake wine trail in one day. When we went, we got a late start (left around 1 p.m.) but still were able to visit almost all of the wineries on the map. The road is somewhat quiet and allowed for some fun morning jogs. Also, the cabin is only about a 10-15 minute drive to the village of Penn Yan where there is a Rite Aid, Tops supermarket, Aldis, and Walgreens. The hot tub and fire pit were both nice for spending time during the cool evenings. The side yard was particularly large and we used it to play football, KanJam, and bocce ball. Although not lake front, nor with direct lake access, you can see Keuka Lake from the front porch. Also, Keuka State Park is less than a 10 minute drive away and has swimming. We went there for a few hours on a Friday and paid $7 for parking one car. There was a playground for children, outdoor grills, and swimming with lifeguards complete with a dock you can jump/dive off with a depth of at least 10 feet. We had a great time and would definitely consider renting this property again in the future."

"We would highly recommend staying at this home. The owner, Mike, is great to work with and helped us plan our trip to the area being more familiar with what's surrounding this home. The website does not do the house justice. The views are amazing and the house is immaculate, very well kept and private. There was not one thing we needed beside linens and food.
The sounds of the water crashing along the shoreline at night when we were sleeping gave it an ambiance that we loved. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need and is very spacious. It slept 9-10 comfortably.
Outside, sitting enjoying the back porch was so relaxing, the water was super clean and easy to wade into. At night the firepit and grill were awesome for giving the house a great place to socialize and enjoy the wines and beers from the local wineries and brew pubs, which there are many.
The location is beautiful with charm and so much to do.
We will most definitely be traveling back and can't wait."
