"Wonderful stay in Hammondsport. Very similar to the town I live in. House was well stocked and clean with just about anything you would need. Nice appliances and a great deck. Quiet neighbors. Never really cooked much. Restaurants had great food but be prepared to wait. Union Grill was by far the best. Get a passport to visit the wineries on Kueka Lake. Some tastings are free but between the ones that do charge and the coupons, the price is well worth it! Seneca Lake within 1/2 hr. drive. Much available for activities or do nothing! Wineries are abundant. Worth a visit."

"This has been the best vacation property we have rented in the Finger Lakes. The first time we stayed here was in October 2013, we also rented Twix in September 2014 and we will be there again in September 2015. We stayed there with our friends and some family. Being there in October was gorgeous. The leaves were just turning color and the weather was perfect. There were just 9 of us and we had more than enough room. The water was too chilly to go swimming but we were able to use the row boat and the 2 kayaks that were there. My sister brought her 2 kayaks to add to the fun. The row boat can hold up to 5 people and it has 2 sets of ores. We spent a lot of time in the row boat and kayaks and at the fire pit, that weekend. We gathered a lot firewood while hiking. During the evenings, it got really chilly and there were space heaters that warmed up the houses. When we went in September we had so much fun. This time, there were 11 people that came with us. The weather was so warm during the day, that we spent most of the time in the water. Even the dog played in the water and went swimming. There was very little seaweed, it just ran along the shore but once you got past it, it was great. We brought some inner tubes and there were some there, already. This time, we had wood delivered to the house soon after we arrived. It was easy getting the wood to the beach. We barely spent time in the house, but we could get wifi signal down on the beach, which was awesome. Having the 2 houses was great. We were able to have the morning people in the small house and the late sleepers in the big house. And with the amount of space between the houses and the beach, noise was not an issue. We love that the fire pit is on the beach, we had a fire going every day, all day until we went to bed. In the mornings, we cooked breakfast and coffee on the fire pit as the sun was rising over the trees. And in the evenings, most of us would be sitting around the fire as we settled down for the day and watch the sun set over the lake. Some of us used the kayaks and row boat to go fishing in the early morning or in the early evenings. There is a garage under the small house that you can access from the beach. It houses the kayaks, ores, and random floatation devices. It had plenty of room to store the extra kayaks and other random things that we brought. With having 2 houses, a large secluded beach and lots of land to go hiking, this place is ideal."

"We rented this beautiful lake house the first week of July. The pictures don't do it justice - It was spotless and decorated to perfection! Ed met us at the boat launch in town and helped us to get our son's boat in, then he helped us to unload everything we brought (which was a lot!) once we got to the lake house. They have a handy lift that was so helpful! The deck was so nice with table and umbrella and the dock worked great for our son's boat. There are steps off of the deck into the water. A grassy area on the side of the house and fenced in yard were perfect for our dogs! We never worried about them getting loose. Ed and Delia were both so nice, helpful if we needed anything, but otherwise left us to enjoy our vacation. We all had such a great time that we have already booked our vacation here next year!"

"This was a great rental, we had a few couples for a weekend and it provided plenty of space for everyone. The rental was very clean and provided a great location for wine tasting, brewery visiting and a great place to relax. The location on the lake was great, I could see it getting very busy during peek season, but it was quiet and relaxing this time of year."
