Relaxing Lake Stay
"This was the perfect lake house for our family. We loved the double decks with beautiful views of the lakes. The house is clean and very well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting wineries, going to the Windmill and hiking in Watkins Glen. It was just what our family needed for a quick getaway before school started! We would definitely stay here again."

"Property was exactly as described and our family of 15 had a wonderful week there. There was plenty of room especially with two pull out queen sofas (comfortable too!) on the main level and adequate bathrooms for all. You cannot find beachfront space like this and our kids brought kayaks, rented paddle boards, rented a great boat for tubing one day, and fully utilized the furnished paddle boat and canoe. Lots of places for board games and card playing too. The owners are down home friendly and helpful and concerned about you having what you need to enjoy their home. Highly recommended."

"Another fall weekend at the Keuka Lake. We were a group of 8 and we had more than enough room. One of the 4 bathrooms is off the dining room so don't think you get one for each of the four out of 5 bedrooms like we did, we ended up sharing the one upstairs for showers and just using the 2nd downstairs one as the community go to. This is one of the most well stocked houses we ever stayed in they actually have too much. 2 full size refrigerators and small ones in the two large upstairs room and another down in the back hallway. 2 cofffee pots with at least 3 extra on the shelf. The only down side is that there is not central air. I think it would be better with central air. There is air units in the windows which can be noisy. The downstairs back bedroom did not have one, and the upstairs middle room with the futon bunk, next to the upstairs family area did not, you would have to leave the door open to that family room for air. The other thing is the back bedroom upstairs and down are very small, they would be ok for children. We choose to sleep on the futon in the upstairs living room rather than have the back bedroom. Personally we would have put the twins in the back bedroom downstairs and the double in the front room. At this price I feel like linens should be included. This is actually the first house we rented in a long time without linens. We brought sleeping bags. There is a washer and dryer on site. There are a lot of stairs to the water, they are nicely graded but if you have health issues and can't walk well be aware. There is a small fridge at the lake so you can stock it and not have to carry coolers back and forth. The kayaks, row boats, canoe are an added bonus. Also, no more than 8 people on the upper deck. We did not use at all. The driveway is hard to find. Doors outside the driveway to the upstairs make loading and unloading a breeze. I would rent this house again."

"Our family spent Easter weekend at this awesome home! My husband & I with our four children, my parents, and my sister were all very comfortable & were blown away by the vintage charm of this home. Wide plank floors, beautiful vintage buffets & armoires greeted us, - lovely decor all around...yet not at all stuffy & incredibly family friendly. I wanted to pick this house up & take it with me.
The house was incredibly clean. When we arrived everything was fresh & inviting. And, everything you can need is provided including towels & sheets...which is plus - less stuff to pack! In addition the kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you could possibly need for cooking in and there were plenty of paper supplies such as toilet paper & paper towels as well.
There is a knock-out view of the lake! There's an incredible front porch with plenty of porch seating. It was pretty cold the weekend we were there. (The lake was still mostly frozen and we woke up to snow on Easter Sunday!) So, we didn't get to utilize the porch nearly as much as we would have liked. But, in warmer weather, we're sure you would spend a lot of time there.
The bedrooms are nice and large. And, the downstairs also has plenty of space to spread out in. The only downside is that there is limited 'lounge around' seating. It would have been nice to have another couch or so. But, we made up for it in spending a lot of time at either the dining room or kitchen tables playing cards & other games.
We've stayed many places in the years that we've been visiting the Fingerlakes. And, this is definitely one of our favorites. And, the off season rate was just fantastic. We'll be back for sure!"
