"We have a good time. Lots of fishing and visits to The Crooked Lake Ice Cream Parlor, Bully Hill for peanut butter pie, several wineries, and every antique shop we could find. The cottage was just the right size for our family of four and our dog. The dog loved the porch and spent hours napping on it. The view was fantastic whether looking out the living room picture window or from the porch. Thank you for sharing your cottage and allowing it to be pet friendly."

"Our family spent Easter weekend at this awesome home! My husband & I with our four children, my parents, and my sister were all very comfortable & were blown away by the vintage charm of this home. Wide plank floors, beautiful vintage buffets & armoires greeted us, - lovely decor all around...yet not at all stuffy & incredibly family friendly. I wanted to pick this house up & take it with me.
The house was incredibly clean. When we arrived everything was fresh & inviting. And, everything you can need is provided including towels & sheets...which is plus - less stuff to pack! In addition the kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you could possibly need for cooking in and there were plenty of paper supplies such as toilet paper & paper towels as well.
There is a knock-out view of the lake! There's an incredible front porch with plenty of porch seating. It was pretty cold the weekend we were there. (The lake was still mostly frozen and we woke up to snow on Easter Sunday!) So, we didn't get to utilize the porch nearly as much as we would have liked. But, in warmer weather, we're sure you would spend a lot of time there.
The bedrooms are nice and large. And, the downstairs also has plenty of space to spread out in. The only downside is that there is limited 'lounge around' seating. It would have been nice to have another couch or so. But, we made up for it in spending a lot of time at either the dining room or kitchen tables playing cards & other games.
We've stayed many places in the years that we've been visiting the Fingerlakes. And, this is definitely one of our favorites. And, the off season rate was just fantastic. We'll be back for sure!"

"My wife and I just stayed there and found the place wonderful. There was a nice balcony where we could eat and watch the boats. The living room, dining area, kitchen all faced the lake. The master bedroom was very nice and had it's own bathroom. We couldn't ask for a better location and the owner was available via email or phone if there was an issue - which there wasn't. Our grown children stopped by for a few days and took advantage of the beach next to the marina, which was right below us. (but we didn't have to climb steps - there was an elevator to take us down and up from the beach and marina)"

"I had to book this house for a retreat for 24 hours for 30-ish college students. It turned out to be perfect for what we needed! Christine left out instructions for how to maintain the house when we left, and was kind enough to keep pamphlets about the surrounding area in the kitchen. It is a very quaint house with excellent space for group discussions, and has beautiful art on the walls too! Backyard is also perfect for outdoor activities, and the house is only 3 miles from a picturesque park for photos. It was a great weekend!"
