"We rented this home for a wedding we were attending. The wedding ended up being right down street. That was great. I saw another post about broken fan in living room. It was still broke when we arrived. When I read about this place it said it had air. Which makes you think central air. Not so and wish I knew that ahead of time. There a window air conditioner in one bedroom and one in kitchen. There was one portable fan and ceiling fans in all rooms. Two ceiling fans in living room and was broke and has not been fixed even though another review said it was broke as well. Could have used it because this was a hot hot weekend. The trash had not been emptyed yet. Told owner and she was working on it but the worst one that smelled and was attracting flys never did get dumped. Those were my cons about this homes and why I only gave four stars actually should have given three but gave four because of:
Great location extremely clean and comfy beds. The deck was nice and sunsets and time spent with my family. ..priceless. kitchen was big and again very clean. There were no bugs and again extremely clean. We had a great time. Would I stay there again YES I would. Would I recommend to others yes.
But please fix fan in living room and put air conditioner in both back bedrooms"

"This was the 2nd year our group of 13 traveled to the Finger Lakes for a weekend wine tour. Last year we stayed in a hotel, but this year we decided to try the house rental route. I can safely say that our stay at Wood and Water has now spoiled us for all future trips to wine country, and that hotel stays will be a thing of the past for us.
The property proved to be just as it was advertised. Lots of room.... the bedrooms were all good size. Nice kitchen and a big family room that has spectacular views of the lake. We especially enjoyed having multiple areas to relax outside.... the main deck off the house, the second deck halfway down the hill, the beach / campfire area at the water's edge, and the dock out on the water.
Lisa was prompt and responsive to all of our inquiries leading up to our stay, and she was very clear about laying out the expectations for guest behavior.
We all had a great time. I feel quite sure this will not be our last stay at this property."

"My brother , my best friend and myself spent the most relaxing week at "Taste of Serenity" cottage. We found it perfectly equipped and cozy . We made use of the several kayaks , canoe and rowboat . Mike and Kathy are such accommodating hosts . They were a plethora of knowledge about the local area from the wineries to local night life to scenic destinations. I will be definitely returning with my wife for another "getaway"! I highly recommend this destination as the stress level is absolute zero!"

"We arrived on July 4th with our 3 daughter (ages 17, 22, 25). The house is absolutely beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. The whole wall facing the lake is made up of 3 sliding glass doors that make you feel like your sitting right on the lake! We had a wonderful time hiking in the mornings and stopping at wineries and some breweries on the way back to the house. Then swimming in the afternoon.. Had a great dinner at restaurant called Ports Cafe. We also grilled a few nights at the house and there is a great food store called Wegmans close by. We also did cheese tasting at Muranda Cheese Company. There is also a great winery down the road from Bella Casa called Zugibe Vineyards that had live music outside overlooking Lake Seneca on Friday nights.
Doris, the owner, was so helpful and accommodating. Very easy to work with. We had a wonderful time and hopefully will be back soon!"
