"Great location on the bay - you can just sit, relax, and watch the sun rise! Loved that the yard was big, living room ample, and the bathroom had room to hang 10+ towels. All kinds of pots and pans and utensils were in the kitchen, and blankets were provided for each bed. We had 2 adults and 3 kids, and managed with the 1 bath just fine. The grill was excellent - easy to use and heated up super fast. Second fridge was handy to have. No AC, but there were ceiling fans and box fans in each room. Fair Haven State Park nearby was awesome, along with the cool Sterling Historical Museum. :) Recommended!"

"We (my husband, myself, daughter, son-in-law and baby granddaughterr) stayed at Monroe Suites the week of Thanksgiving while visiting family. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate, well stocked with most anything we could need, safe, comfortable and was a perfect location for our needs. My interactions with Diane, the manager, were exceptional. Seamless booking, arrival and departure. We had to call her on a weekend because the front door lock would not work and maintenance was there promptly to fix the problem. Thank you for helping to make our stay so great, Diane! We will be back!"

"We rented Stumble Beach Cottage for a week to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday and we had such a great time! Tom and Chris made everything really simple and easy, which is exactly what we wanted. It was just us and our dog. We saw deer running through the woods our first day there and we loved walking down the short path, through the wooded area, to the lake each morning. They had everything we needed. The whole cottage was adorable! It also tends to be damp being near the water, so they even have a huge dehumidifier to keep away the muskiness. I was very impressed with how modern and comfortable this lakeside property turned out to be. It was a great, private, comfortable vacation!"

"The description of this home and property is not exaggerated. It was very comfortable for 6 adults and an infant and could have accommodated more people easily. Each family had their own full bathroom, which made it nice. We had plenty of room to entertain local family members who visited us. The kids were especially thrilled with the hot tub, but the adults got their share of enjoyment out of it, too. Everything we needed was provided in this lovely home, but Watkins Glen was only 10 minutes away if we wanted anything. The new Grist Iron Brewery opened almost across the street on Route 414 and having that so close was a bonus. Of course wineries abound in the area, too. Guests should be aware that you do have to travel about 1/4 mile down a gravel road to get to the home, so vehicles with good ground clearance are the best to use while staying at the house. Regular vehicles can work ok as long as you go very slowly over the speed bump.
There was plenty of room both indoors and out with a huge private lot, deck and a porch. A boat launch was mentioned as an amenity, but you would need to get more info about that from the owner. We didn't find anything usable for that purpose, but we didn't have a boat, either.
The AC was very welcome since we were there during a hot weather week. Nights cooled down to comfortable temperatures, so breakfast on the porch was very pleasant. There were great lake views from one of the upstairs bedrooms and peek-a-boo views between the trees from the lower levels. However, the sunset views were spectacular.
The only downside was the extra fee we had to pay for cleaning. Not sure why that wasn't included in the price.
I would highly recommend this home for a wonderful Finger Lakes vacation."
