  • A Perfect Vacation!

"The pictures do not begin to describe this perfect setting for a vacation. We were within walking distance to downtown and the lake. The restaurants in the area are fantastic. Bully Hill Winery, Luna Mezza and the Union Block Bistro should not be missed. Rita and Wes provided us with spotless accomodations, fresh fruit and flowers and the best fresh pastries. We will be back. We only got back yesterday and have already made multiple recommendations to our friends. Thank you!"

  • A lovely "cottage" on a great lake!

"My kids wanted an early 80th birthday celebration for me so after much looking we settled on this place. The pictures don't lie. It was fabulous and well worth the rent charged. My brother and his family paid $300 less for about 1/3 of the amenities. They died when they compared the two cottages. We had a number of guests and both families for the birth day gala and there was PLENTY of room for everyone. The decks were huge and the two large living areas provided lots of space for everyone. The master suite on the 3rd floor was spectacular. What a treat to look out across the lake to see the light mirrored on the water as I made my twice nightly treks to the bathroom. And the views in the a.m. and at sunset were gorgeous. We rented a paddle board and kayak and the kids and adults had a great time cruising around the lake, and even across the lake. Do not remember the place we rented from but they were VERY reasonable. The dock was a little shaky and a couple of boards need replacement but it was great for reading, sipping a cup of coffee and for many hours of fishing! I was worried about the lack of a lawn on the water front but it was not a problem. Do not be discouraged of the frigid looking picture on the website as the access to the lake was just fine. All in all, an affordable place for a large group of people and no where in the world would you find a greater spot for a vacation than on Keuka Lake!"

  • Beautiful Location

"My husband and I rented the cottage for 2 weeks. The owner, Don, was very accommodating about our arrival and departure times, the cottage was well stocked, and he checked in with us a couple of times to make sure all was well. The setting is beautiful, and we enjoyed using the kayaks and sailboat. Very comfortable for the two of us. We slept on the comfortable futon in the main room, and used the bedroom to store our belongings. 6 people in this space would be a bit tight unless two of them were children who enjoyed sleeping in a loft and climbing down a ladder to get to the bathroom. Would definitely consider renting this cottage another time."

  • Joanne from Vermont

"This was our second stay at this beautiful Keuka Lake cottage, this time for a week. The cottage couldn't be closer to the water with a huge dock where we spent many enjoyable hours. When we weren't on the dock we were in the beautifully furnished screened/glassed in front porch. That's where we had all our meals -- many times watching ducks and heron on the lake. All the nearby wineries were a destination almost daily. The quaint village of Hammondsport is nearby and has many restaurants and shops. We had a great time and will be sure to return. Joanne"
