"My friends and I stayed at the house while attending a wedding in the area. The owner was very friendly, flexible, and helpful. The decor is bold, quirky, and just right. The planter/sculpture in the living room was a big hit, as were the smattering of stuffed animals. There were plenty of kitchen wares, board games, and towels. I loved the fire and seating area by the water and the round booth in the kitchen. There is a screened outdoor dining room, but there were no mosquitoes, so we lounged and dined on the patio. We got out on the water with the float and canoe--what could be better? There are other houses around the pond, but the house feels private, and everyone is there for more or less the same reason. There is plenty of easy parking, and the supermarket isn't too far. The few downsides: The one fold-out bed could stand replacement with a "real" bed. Some sinks and showers had low water pressure. The electric stove could be a drawback for the picky chef. It's a special spot, a world of relaxation. Highly recommended."

"We had an incredible weekend at the Cottage. Small and cozy, but perfectly clean with every comfort you could want, from powerful AC to comfy beds to a well-equipped kitchen. The cottage is set on the end of a huge field, giving you total privacy and a perfect place to run around during the day or sit around the campfire (wood and a firepit are provided) and stargaze at night. You also have access to all the activities on the massive estate, especially the beautiful little lake just two minutes walk down the gravel path, that is perfect for swimming, fishing and boating (floats, row boats, etc. are all included.) Peg is a wonderful and friendly host, you couldn't ask for better. Highly recommended! We can't wait to go back!"

"It was very spontaneous that we decided to go to upstate. I was looking through a lot of properties and found this one. Rannie was very friendly and offered very good stay condition. When we arrived, we just loved it. We had a small child 4 years old my brother grandson he was so happy there that at the time we headed back home he started to cry, did not want to go. The house very clean and comfortable, nice hot tube, property is groomed well and also very clean, the porch was very comfortable the only thing we missed that the shade over porch because it was rainy and it would be great if there would be a shade over porch just to sit and listen the sounds of rain. Very very satisfied. Definitely will came back."

"My family and I were looking for an escape from the busy city and this house was beyond our expectations. It was spacious, well furnished( made me feel like I was in my own house), lots of beds( very comfortable and beautiful sheets), and the views were spectacular, the kitchen was well equipped with an enormous fridge and was open. The host could not have been more accommodating. My family and I went to the Monhonk mountain house which was about 2 miles from the house, and one night we went to the Eggs Nest restaurant which was about a 10 min drive and was a delicious meal. I will definitely be returning to this fabulous property!"
