"We stayed at this property with 10 adults and 3 dogs for our annual fall retreat. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. It was close to everything we needed, lots of space to move around the exterior. There was a hot tub and pool though the pool was closed for the season and we didn't take advantage of the hot tub. The interior: The kitchen was the favorite and largest spot of the house especially with two chefs among our crew. We were greeted by the owners dog Coconut, which was such a delight to have around since we are dog lovers. The grounds were very well kept. We had a few areas we wish had been better but were minor - the 5th bedroom is on the 3rd floor attic and to get up there, you have to go up very narrow steps and the low head room made it difficult to get in an out of that room. There is only one TV in whole house which was in the living room. The living room isn't very big so we spent most of our time in the kitchen or outside around the property grounds so that everyone had a place to sit and socialize or play games. The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathrooms had plenty of fresh towels and toiletries. The property manager Darren was always prompt with answering any questions we had so all in all we had a great experience with this property."

"Our West Point Class was celebrating our 40th Reunion. The selected reunion hotel was in New Jersey and we wanted a location close to West Point where we could participate in activities on the grounds but also have a social environment to renew old friendships with our group. This VRBO was the ideal choice. The kitchen is huge and easily supported our meal preparations for up to 28 people. The weather allowed us to spend most of our social time out on the back deck overlooking the lake. Beautiful with fall colors. Plenty of room to socialize, sit and relax. The bedrooms are in the basement and on the second floor. A variety of configurations allowed us to align sleeping requirements to meet the needs of our group.
On the down side the VRBO is showing the wear and tear of lots of heavy traffic from week to week. Paint is chipped off the walls, some floor tiles are cracked or damaged and outside wood needs to be painted from weather and sun damage.
There are two ladies who constitute the cleaning team and when we occupied the property everything was clean, orderly and in good working order. We throughly enjoyed our stay and have recommended the New Windsor property to our friends for their upcoming reunion."

"My husband and I rented this little cottage for a weekend in June for my grown daughters to come visit from NYC. It is perfectly situated just outside of Woodstock village which is about 5 minutes by car. I would not say that no auto is necessary unless you are really a stout walker. One round trip to town by foot will suffice and then you will want to drive. It had everything one needs to be comfortable except, in our case, sheets for the fold out bed which were absent for some reason."

"Our experience here was absolutely wonderful! There were 6 adults total, and the space was fine. Everything in the home is well thought out. Susie is an amazing artist and the home certainly reflects that. It is gorgeous, warm and inviting. The energy here is wonderful! The place is stocked with everything you would need. We were very comfy.
The property also has so much to offer. The treepee was fabulous and we did a few yoga sessions up among the trees. There is a swing and two places for bonfires. Chip was wonderful and set up an impressive bonfire for us one night. There was also a bbq which came in handy.
Chip and Susie are lovely people, helpful hosts, and tried to stay out of our hair, but we kept inviting them to hang and they put up with us :)
We also went on a hike directly from the backyard. Spent the day on trails and a bit of bushwhacking. What a glorious nature filled relaxing weekend. Look forward to coming back again and again."
