"A lovely little winter get away on a farm. The yurt is unique and well insolated. Kitchen equipment is basic (and from the 70s) but works just fine. Beth is quite helpful the animals are friendly though unless your dog is used to farm animals I strongly recommend keeping them on leash. Also the yurt does smell a bit from the gas fireplace and oven. Overall i found the yurt to be private and romantic and we plan to come back. Oh and is snowed but the streets were well plowed."

"My fiancé and I spent the weekend at the Lake Chalet with 10 of our friends. The house was more than enough for all of us. We grilled, had fires in the fire-pit, went canoeing, caught some fish, drove to nearby Barton for a corn maze, played Exploding Kittens (the card game), danced, made burgers, made margaritas, and overall had a wonderful time. Connie was incredibly helpful and communicative. The house was perfect for us and made the whole weekend easy and care-free. I would heartily recommend the Lake Chalet for any groups of friends, or families, or like-minded people, or coworkers, or heck, even strangers."

"This home is in a perfect location and gives the full lake house experience without skimping on the ammenities. We had a wonderful 6 day stay and enjoyed the boating, the fireplace and the general area very much. The house is very clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this to a friend."

Great house in the middle of nothing (or between Hunter and Windham mountain)
"Surrounded, the excellent equipped house is a great place to stay for some days in the Catskill Mountains. We were a group of six German and Canadian journalists and photographers, who stayed there for the mountain bike world cup at Windham - and all of us founf enough space (three large bedrooms with queensize beds (two of them with own bath room), and room with four beds (two bunk beds) which fits each also for tall adults. The living room with the kitchen is really large, internet is fast. The really only disapointment was the not existsing cell phone connection."
